thank you thats what i was thinking in my mind!! in know there very old seeds and what ever strain it is its a very good one! thy were the my ol mans thats what means alot to me!! people are just to fast to bash anymore.you can look at the plant and tell its not an every day strain.

honestly to say its bullshit that its not an east asian sativa is like saying all oreo only makes one type of cookie is it that hard to believe that a measly 40 years ago they were growing weed and hmmm whats a profit maker having something the others dont hmmm maybe it was by accident the some farmer got some indica pollen somewhere down the line thanks to mass quanities being grown around the world and MJ pollen uses the wind to travel to females, hmmm who knos but being that they where found in a out of era empty pack of smokes in i assume a box or bag of veitnam stuff his father used in the actual war lots of guys did and still do things they otherwise wouldnt do under the stress of war and drugs were prominit in vietnam during the war this is common knowledge ..... even after all this that is totally possible and is most likely true are you seriously gonna call bullshit on a beautiful plant at that and the dude didnt even get the least upset when ur bein a total ass about it

highland or even lowland laotian, vietnamease, thailand, ect. dont look like that at all. doesnt resembe a s.e. asian landrace sativa at all. real ass s.e. asian sativas have pencil thin leaves, flower no less then 14 weeks but even more. grow tall has fuck, and in thailand they grow back every year meaning they havest the plants and let them reveg they grow treese outside there. and besides that plant is hybrid more then a little bit. they look more like some kind of mexican sativa dom hybrid to me then anything. there not foxtailing open structure buds. i really doubt those are legit i would bet my left nutt on it and my left nutt is my favorite nutt lol
Chitownsmoking, You are missing the point, even if not grow there, he could have gotten them in nam. or a hell of a party when he got home either way it is a very cool find. a cool way to connect to his old man. and props to him for seeing it though and treating those seeds right, his father obviously thought were special. so I bet they are.
