well what happens to my plants... or what I call my rootbound plants are when there in pots thats a must... and and... what was I saying... oh yea.. um... um... shit... oh alrite.. and when I dont repot my plants and they start getting big... they stop atg a certain point... for instance this year I started a few plants in half gallon pot... planing on puting them elsewear. and I left a few in pots and repoted the rest in the ground... the ones in the pots were 1/5th the size ans the stem had like a bark all over it... and... theres other stuff...

when i yanked my plants that were in the ground the roots were no bigger than the size of a softball and they had mother earthto grow in from may to sept,i repotted one in a pot that was not much biggerthen the roots would that be big enough to bring him back from the pull and then tranfer?

it's obvious when a plant is root bound..it will " Bolt " very similar looking to stretching for light...I know a root bound plant when I see one...which is not to often...plants can thrive in a lot smaller pots than most people think, especially an annual..Cannabis just isn't alive long enough to become truly root bound......your smoking it before then..I think a way bigger problem is people can't keep up with watering and feeding requirements when growing in small pots.....I love small pots..I only use solo cups and 1 gallon grow bags indoors and my plants look the same as if they were in 5 gallon buckets..but I feed and water them almost daily when using smaller pots....
