Look at this picture. I have spider mites I think AND maybe another problem

1 of my plants looks completely like these 2 leaves do. my other plants each have 1 or to sets of leaves that look like this pair. Are both of these symptoms of spider mites?

I trimmed all the leaves with the spots off the plant and then sprayed the remaining with neem oil and rubbed the bottoms of the leaves off best I could.

DO I have another issue to or is that super yellow leaf just the after effect of the bugs?



Oh also, The shoot/stems are getting purple lines up them. is that normal? lol

how old are they?

veg or flower?

what nutes are you using?

2 months old. still vegging. I started Grow nutes 2-1-6 Advanced Nutrients. I am doing like 3 tsp / 4 gallons of water. Is that not enough? They are in the Miracle Grow PH stabilized soil. I checked today and I can't seem to find any more mites so I think I got em all.

spider mites will appear as little whitish dots on the tops of the leaves. This is where the little assholes bit in on the bottom. Look at the bottom of the leaves for mites. You can see them well with a scope, w/o you'll see little light brown dots. I hate those little assholes.

I think I have thrips AND spider mites then. I agree after a bit of research that this is thrips damage on the left. I will correct this problem then start focusing on the nutrient issues. I have other plants that are perfectly happy with the current nute levels and they are the exact same strain. These plants have not been affected by the bugs yet so it is a good possibility that there is just too much insect damage.
