Looking at HLG 135w

Hey Guys,

Been meaning to upgrade for a flower light. Will be my primary light. I want to go with the HLG 135w. It’s only about $230 CDN. Fits the bill. I have a small flower tent.

The 3,000k always sells out. I need to get flowering under way soon. They do have 2700k for sale. Is it better to get the 2700k or is there really no difference and won’t hurt either way?

My preference 3000 - 3500k
Not much difference in my opinion.
The 2700k has a bit less blue than the 3000k, it'll still grow and flower well

I don’t know if I should hold out for a 3000k.

I keep missing when they come back in stock in Canada and it takes months for it come back in stock. I do want the best for my flower plants though. I don’t like cheaping or not using the proper spectrum. It’s a disservice to them.

If you can mix 2700K and 4000K that will get you in a good place

Yeah I don’t think I’ll be able to do that. Flower space isn’t the largest. Want to run one light. I guess I just hold out for a 3000k. So I get the extra bit of blue spectrum. I had a feeling that was going to be the consensus. But I didn’t want it to be.
