Looking for an OG Kush that stays fairly short...

i grew the old p/w it was unavailable for a long time then re-released probably not the same

get yourself some Sour kush aka headband by Reserva privada. densest, bushiest, shortest, fuelyiest plant ever.

bubba was great though not an og. was better than the ogs that grew with it...im thinking about crossing the 98bubba with og ghost train haze.

there is no og genetics in bubba... I would direct the op twords l.a. confidential.... og kush x l.a. afghanie aka l.a. affie... stays short, flowers fast, doesn't have that classic g stretch most all ogs have...

I feel the same way.... the bubba is more powerfull an indiica.. but most of the ogs taste better with pinesoley fuel like funk.. {bubba taste amazig in its own right but some ogs make my mouth water}

this bubba i found has a awesome candy flavor and an awesome garlic n onions type of stink in the jar. insane quality! is that how 98 bubba should taste/smell?

not in my experience..... bubba has a coffee, skunk, funk type smell.....

yea its from cali con so im wondering what could be in the cross or what pheno it is. their pre98 bubba bx if its not bubba it looked like the pic but nothing like description lol absolute fire!

I like og #18...Only thing I'm finding I don't like much bout og, or some of the og crosses. It's a bitch to clone. But good smoke. On my second attempt now clonning cuts from og#18

I've cloned successfully before. After bout lil more than two weeks. No roots no bumps nothing! Just gonna cross this one to keep the genes around.

I went to check for roots. Then saw nothing said fuck this gonna make a shit load of beans with her. Crossing a warlock male to her. I'm trying a cut from on top. The last ones I tried where from the bottom area

I don't know if you are looking for a San Fernando Valley type "OG" (Original Gangster), a sativa hybrid (stretchy) or Ocean Grown "OG" which are old school indica (compact, christmas tree like) dominant ...I like DNA/Reserva Privada OG and OG18 and Sagarmatha's; Matanuska Tundra. These are the indica dom relax-your-ass-off-buz-types...But I am all about "old school" and relaxin'...FWIW

PS...May want to take a look at "FuGu Kush" by Motarebel & Hazeman (Just ripped a vape hit of Motarebel's)..."Forest Fire" by Cabin Fever Seeds at "Highlife" and A reincarnated SSSC; M 31 by SickMeds; William's Wonder...That should keep you busy for a while(g)...

Well, I didn't know there was such a difference, but I grow the Kosher Kush and Skywalker Kush, both from Reserva Privada. I absolutely love them both, for different reasons, but they are both very stretchy. I would consider the Skywalker as a strong hybrid buzz, but the Kosher is a pure indica body stone.

I grow in a micro cab SOG style, so I usually end up topping more than I would like with these two. I do have mothers and run clones, as someone suggested, but I am interested in finding something with a similar effect, but with a more compact structure, or at least less vertical stretch. There have been some good suggestions on here. I like the Purple OG 18 idea as well as the Blue OG, Lemon OG, Sour Kush and that Forest Fire OG sounds great.

I could not agree with you more. I got a freebie and did it 2 cycles ago. Still have 2 jars of it that I puff on daily. I let my plants get 6 nodes then top and remove the bottom 2, I then take the 4 remaining branches and LST them outward. If done correctly and tied down good all the sub branches will grow upward creating a nice canopy without all the stretch.

Stay away from the Kosher, the pheno im growing right now at least is a stretchy little bastard, even with being topped and LST'd.

I agree with whoever said Sour Kush, that shit is one of my fav strains for sure. Never grown it but smoke it all the time!

i completely expected it to be a stretch bomb but it didn't at all. even when it stretches in flower it does it uniformly across the whole plant and only stretches a very minimum amount so your don't even notice it really. i popped a 6 pack and 4 made it too finish. 2 major losers one got cut down at 3 weeks another looks like it might get cut down at 5. the other 4 are all pretty good with 1 pheno just outshining the others pretty bad. fuel funk with a hint of OG in the background. its on my list of favorites.

how come every time i find a fuel pheno in a pack of beans that has sour diesel somewhere in the lineage thats the one i end up keeping? it always seems to be a pheno that shows up alone too. maybe something to do with the terps that make up that fuel smell? this go i have 3 phenos that could almost be clones in the flavor department and the one that just makes me druuul. every time i find her too i say a little prayer and get a little reminder why its good to buy PACKS and not pick and mix cause she stands out so much over her sisters.

If you can swing the bucks here's a lead...Then clone like hell...I just today bought Bubba and Neville's cut; the G13 too... http://www.drgreenthumb.com/ My grow buddies have The Neville's in veg and are very excited but are not prepared to share clones atm...FWIW

im gonna try the r/p headband & the kandy kush too the skywalker sure does stretch but im doing another round of it
