looking for experienced growers advice on harvest/cure

im looking for some experienced growers like fdd or nat or someone who has done more than a couple grows to gimme some advice on harvestiung and curing

basically my friend harvested some earlier hios year nd his shit had no smell and im wondering if its from his cuing method also we tried harvesting some hermies early and were left with the same type of beatery non smell

im wondering what is the best method to harvest/cure in order to have a funky smell another guy i know always sells his when its still kinda wet and it has the same problem with smelling kinda beastery

any help would be appreciated but like i said i would like some truly experienced growers input

When the plant is ripe cut off 1 branch at a time. Trimm off all the fan leaves and some smaller leaves.Cut the little buds off that are near the bottom of branch and throw them in a bag. You should have a manicured bud when finished. There are a few ways to dry it. The whole concept to drying weed and curing it is to dry it slow. Put the buds in a paper bag and roll the bag down. When they seem like they are dry 2 to 7 days (depends on the thickness of the bud) Put them in a air tight jar. This slows the drying to a snail pace. After a while they will seem moist. Open the jar and let some air out and put the cap back on. repeat this until they are dry-dry.

It is hard to put this into words i just do it.

Again the whole concept of putting the buds into jars is to slow the dring process down. This is when it is cured.

dry it in a cool dry, dark place (18c) for 14 days or 21 till the branches break when bent. then put in glass jars for 2 months but don't let any air in. then you'll have dank smelling weed.
