Looking for Feedback

Hi all,

Total novice and first time grower here so just looking for some general feedback. Also hoping someone might be able to enlighten me as to why both my plants seem to be at different stages of flowering. Both plants have been in a 12/12 cycle for 33 days now and seem to be doing well. They are both Northern Light and are each about 70 cm tall. One of them seems to be showing far more orange pistils than the other one at the moment and am wondering what to make of it. Have attached a couple of photos for comparison. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Can't really see a whole lot in terms of colour difference here but what are your thoughts generally on growth,, health etc?

Pic 2 - Plant 1 and Plant 2 - Cola Colour Difference
You can begin to see the difference in the pistil colour here - despite the slight blurriness of the pic.

Pic 3 - Plant 1 - Top
Here is a closeup of the first plant's topmost flower. All of the pistils seem white...

Here is a similar pic of Plant 2. Notice the difference in colour. What should I infer from the difference?
Is Plant 2 simply maturing faster?

Sharp tile! Funny how we use what we need to when it comes to our girls.

They both look very healthy, about the same size, they receive the same on nutes, lighting, flip to flower? If so just maturing differently. Did you notice if one sexed before the other? Looks okay..

Cheers. I haven't had a shower in about two months ;-) Seriously though, they were both treated the exact same way. The darker one actually sprouted later than the other one, by three or four days. But the lighter girl had a broken stem early on that I had to splint so maybe that had an effect on later development. When you say maturing differently, do you mean that I may have to harvest her first?

I had four sativas from same seed pack grow two different ways, two looked very sativa while two looked different, probably the indica coming out (80% sativa 20% indica). My last to sprout was also the strongest grower, with shortest internode length and always healthier looking. I'd say it's completely possible for two hybrids from same seed batch to come out looking or acting differently. Cheers on having two healthy plants.

Will you be looking at trics? If so, trim a sugar leaf from each and compare trics. Do so again in a week. If you're not checking trics, watch each on ratio of pistils that have turned color. Watch for new pistil growth, if one is sprouting new pistils while the other isn't (and it has more mature pistils overall), you have a plant that could be harvested before the other. Hope that helps. :)

Cool. I am planning on checking the trics, just have to sort out a proper magnifier first. Will do that as soon as possible. Appreciate the words of advice and will keep a close eye on them. Thanks. :-)
