So, back in mid/late 2006 I was couch surfing. Long story short a roommate situation had gone south and I refused to get rid of my dog and couldn't find a place taking pets I could afford. So a cook at the resturant I was waiting tables at offered me his couch, dog welcome. Those guys listened to a ton of great music but one album in particular sticks out in my admittedly hazy memory. It was a bluegrass band with awesome fiddle but a rockish edge. One of their songs was about 2 teenage boys losing their virginity to the older lady down the street. Ring any bells with anyone? I would so very grateful for any hints as I've since lost touch with those guys.
Somewhat related, if you have any like of fiddle/celtic music check out Ashley MacIssac, Sophia's Pipes and Devil in the Kitchen are two of my favorite songs of his, amazingly talented guy with great musicians around him to boot! These guys reminded me of him but with bluegrass rather than a celtic touch, if that makes sense.
