Looking for one or two strains

Hello. Im not sure if ive asked this in the past I have a feeling I may have. I purchased some lowryder #2 from attitude in the past. Spent a couple hundred and none of them cracked. They just rotted.
Im not a new grower and I know this strain can be difficult to find and difficult to start.

This is a medical grow for my mother. I know there are more practical strains but she read about this one and is really set on it. I would like to try these again but at the cost of seeds I cant afford to have them not sprout.

Is there anybody around that still has viable seeds of this strain ?
At the moment im also looking for Grand daddy purple from a reliable source.

Also I could use some suggestions for the latest greatest short autoflower strains what are some favourites out there and reliable seed sources.

hit a few seed banks and search for dwarf, short, small etc and you will find some. joint doctor, dinafem, sweet seeds, barney's farm, advanced seeds, world of seeds, delicious seeds, royal queen and nirvana are a few breeders that are good choices for autos imo.

Sometimes you can find somebody close by you on Budtrader that has seeds at very reasonable prices. I found someone earlier this year on there that had some Lowryder reg. seeds at a very reasonable price. Just throwing that out there- by no means am I advocating that this is the right thing to do. Good luck I hope your mother fines the meds she needs.

Good Dwarf Autos from Royal Queen Seeds are Easy Bud Auto Fem and Royal Dwarf Auto Fem both are meant to be really easy to grow and take around 8 to 9 weeks. I have had both and all seeds popped however I have failed with the Royal Dwarf ones since my cat knocked them all over and snapped them. I am doing Easy Bud at the moment and so far soo good. I have never smoked them strains but they are reputable.

Right on thanks a lot guys this is exactly what I was looking for !
From what I can see this Afghan Kush Ryder looks really good is there a non feminized version available I cant seem to find it anywhere.

Most of the best auto's dont come in non-fem forms but you can make hundreds of fem seeds from one female plant if you use colloidal silver spray which is dirt cheap on amazon, or ga3 spray which you can get on ebay for even cheaper.. However ga3 is touchy and i have seen it ruin two plants, as in cause them to just never flower properly and since they were autos they had to be cut without any yield

I might play with fem seeds someday but I a prone to go on rants about the evils of feminsized seeds.Breeders that ONLY make feminized seeds imo do it out of pure greed to keep their genetics to themselves and get more hard earned $$ from the rest of us. Fem seeds or really only good for commercial growers and the people that breed the seeds in the first place. And if those genetics are ever lost... They are are lost for good. Sure its easier to just run fem seeds, no males to deal with and you can just buy more seeds.... Seems pretty good no ? Hmmmmm ;) The seed breeders have found a way to use us. No better than the government no better than GMO control is control. I prefere to keep it away from my plants. But yes... In itself I dont see feninzation so bad so long as there are regualar versions to go with them to keep the genetics free.

Same problem with it as you bro. It's greedy as hell. Some breeders of other plants only release females as well so peopel can never make seeds and have to share cuttings only which is nearly impossible on super rare finicky plants so you have to buy them from the source. (Which often got the original illegitimately anyway lmao)

Haha its good to know im not the only one thinking this. Fems have become so popular the last few years I was starting to think I was alone in this. Thanks for all the help here !

Hi bud,do u know what method to use either scrog or Lst with autos to gain more budding sites? I have giant dual spectrum cfl with LR1.Soil grow.Cheerz.

Well a scrog really is just LST using a certain method. You can get the same effect without a screen if you have some thin wire to tie branches down with.
