Looking for opinions.. was a seed on 6/6 was a seedling 9/6. This is her today. Tia

Also.. another question. As these are autos what's the best schedule for lighting since they don't need 12 12. I have them on 5 hours dark. Is that too much dark not enough? I don't mind the 500 w bill from 2 lights 300 warm and 200 dual.

If they are indeed autos, I'd stick with 18-21 hrs lights on. You still have a long ways to go before she's done. Plan on at least another month before it's mature . Be patient.

That's hot but it should rebound alright. Were thees pics taken when heat stressed? Also you may want to look into air extraction. What kind of ventilation or light setup are you running? Any way to artificially lower temps

Just realised what you meant I think. The leaves looked hot as photographed. I see what you mean. I've raised the light higher up so I'll see if they flatten. Had the bulb approx 6 inch off the canopy raised it an inch. I don't want any stretching which is why I was close and being CFL it didn't seem too warm with the hand test... I'll learn. Can't be a Master grower over night unfortunately. :-(

CFL can be close. Like almost kissing close. What are you doing for ventilation? When I ask about heat stress it isn't cause the CFL is too close

2 fans drawing on a carbon filter 2 mini fans in the tent rustling the leaves gently. Fresh air in is passive. When I tried setting up a fan to input air the pressure wouldn't go negative at all. So I doubled extraction and left it passive.
300w CFL kissing close is ok just to confirm. (3 inch away feels genly warming on the hand). Steady 25° now but the leaves are still spiked up on the edges.
I wonder if I should re lower the CFL?
Also get a small 4 inch intake fan that won't over ride the power of the extraction? Should that be the plan?

How big is your exhaust fan and how big is your tent? If your fan is big enough the negative pressure should pull the sides of your tent in. My rooms have enough to pull the doors closed and latch.

80x80cm by 180cm. I can get negative pressure while air in is passive. I can't zip closed the door due to temperatures though. I need a window open and the tent so I'm lucky the smell isn't OTT.
I'm thinking 500 watts of big size CFL may give of too much heat for the small tent.
Also there wasn't room for the filter to be in the top so it is on the floor... could that be the reason it's not keeping lower temps?

How big is your exhaust fan for that?

They vary, some don’t start until week five or six

Yea I think you have a few more weeks left for flower. Ime, when growing autos in organic soil, they will take longer to transition to flower. But if you use nutes, you can force her to flower a little earlier with bloom nutes. You would sacrifice some yield by forcing her to flower instead of continuing veg nutes. Also why organic soil takes longer; it's growing.

Your plant looked great tho. Good job!

Thanks for the input...Wow really? In such a small tent? I thought what I had would be ample. I haven't done any math though. The intakes on the tent are only 4inch I don't believe 6 inch duct would fit through.. some adaptor maybe? Do they do 4 inch with enough power? Basically I bought a kit and then a bigger 250 fan... so I believed increasing what came with the tent would suffice. I'm considering taking the tent out of the equation completely.

No 2 seems ro be doing better started 3 week after.
I'm in coco at the moment. Organics is a learning curve for the future. Getting the basics down for now. Then some photo's. I'll be testing soil.. I don't want bugs in the house or smelly mould.
It's the temps that's bothering me now. I can't blame the weather anymore.

More airflowthe better there are reducers and such you can get

Anyone care to give me an ETA based on these latest close ups. That's as close as I can get to the tricomes. Tia. It must be soon I'm like a pregnant housewife lol.

Update on the waiting game via image of bud. Plus new girls progress.
Feel free to let me know how they looking. I'm aware the oldest is heat stressed. Though it's no longer hot. The leaves stay spiked.
