Searching for this strain .... anyone know where I might acquire it from?
Pinkmans Goo
Pinkmans Goo
Not sure who the breeder is ... A friend mentioned it to me and I've been looking ever sinceNo clue. Whos the breeder? So many pollen chuckers there's new strains every week. By the name I'm going to guess it's Slimer X Gorilla Glue?
Thanks, leafly doesn't always have all the strains. New resources are always fantastic.
I've had the odd pheno from my California Hash Plant and my Jamaican Grapes (aka 'Ice') do this in the past but from what I have read about this strain gives me the impression that Pinkmans Goo is genetically predisposed to showing this characteristic and I'd like to get my hands on some seeds so I can play around ... I think it could be an amazing addition to anyones garden let alone for anyone who is into squishing rosin (such as myself)I have had grapefruit plants make a "goo" glob before.
That would be cool if you are right. When it happened for me I just thought maybe the buds got heat stress or something to cause it. Maybe there is more to it than I thought.I've had the odd pheno from my California Hash Plant and my Jamaican Grapes (aka 'Ice') do this in the past but from what I have read about this strain gives me the impression that Pinkmans Goo is genetically predisposed to showing this characteristic and I'd like to get my hands on some seeds so I can play around ... Until I have seeds to test, everything I have wrote here is conjectureThat would be cool if you are right. When it happened for me I just thought maybe the buds got heat stress or something to cause it. Maybe there is more to it than I thought.
Yeah, that's a problem ... getting clones across the border would be quite a bitch methinks
It's just "sap", no THC in it. DJ Shorts moonshine was known to do it from time to time. There have been articles on the subject. Either High Times or Leafly i believe. It's quite the sight, thats for sure. It's called Guttation from what I found.I have had grapefruit plants make a "goo" glob before.

Super interesting. I remember cloning in Rockwool trays of like 98 clones and having these dark brown/black globs appear on the clones, when i touched them with my nail they would fall off. They looked like dead bugs but they were actually sap caused by the stress of cloning, environment - humidity of the tray with the lid on. Also the stems and petioles would turn red and the clones would be looking rough at this point around day 12-14 I would start seeing this on the odd clone. So maybe I have seen this, but never coming out of buds only stems. It's just "sap", no THC in it. DJ Shorts moonshine was known to do it from time to time. There have been articles on the subject. I was making funny....nothing more than that...I don't get out much......on account of my priapism...which is really scustingIt was all natural, I never used any pesticides. This was before I built this....and have 100% green healthy success now. And, it was an interesting phenomena to observe now that I know what it was . And it is not unique to any one strain.
