looking for some advice from experienced growers

I am looking to start a hydro farm. I plan on vegging with a t5 ,8 bulb ,ho system. I have a dome to start my seedlings, i would then like to veg my best 10 plants in a 4x4 tent . I want to flower in a 4x8 with either two 1000hps lamps, or 4 kingled 3000 watt leds(600 true watts at the wall). i plan on using a bucket top feed system , which would top feed and return back to the resevoir through tubing, 10 plants in veg under the t5, then 5 plants under each 1000hps. once im past the seedling stage id like to clone before flowering, and have a 4 week veg, then cycle back to flower perpetual. This is going to be my first grow and would like some advice from some veterans or anyone who can offer valid suggestions or tips for someone new. money is not a huge issue i have a budget of about 3000$ to invest, electricity cost is not a huge factor either. do you guys have any suggestions of things i should do , or advice about my plans. this sounds good in theory to me and like i can make it work !

Just read everything on growweedeasy and get a good ph and ppm meter

Thanks for the reply man! I’ll head over and study some more ! Only thing I can do I guess it put my plan into action and see what happens ! Do you have advice on drip feed methods ? Rockwool over hydroton any recipe you might can share that’s helped you with your success ? I know all grows are different and failure is the best teacher !

I run dtw coco on 3x3 drain tables but if I was going to do straight hydro I would copy Heisenbean's rdwc setup.. looks killer

Do not buy King led , any LED in that price point is going to leave you disappointed n needing to upgrade.
If you only have 3K to start , go HPS
I was going to sort of say the same. By time he gets his buckets, tents, fans, ducting , circ fans, thermometer, ph and EC pens there won’t be much left for decent LEDs

I wouldn't say don't go with the 1000w hps but I would say don't go with those particular LEDs OP.
Also don't overlook DE CMH lighting.

In my eyes you have the budget to do what ever you like but it does seem you folks over there pay through the nose for some products.

If you plan on perpetual then make sure your hydro set up is modular so you can take plants from your veg tent into flower tent without hassle.
Wilmas would fit that bill but im sure there are lots of options these days.
