Looking for someone with commercial experience making THC infused soda

Title says it all. I'm a brewmaster by trade and am working with a company to develop a line of infused sodas. I would like to talk to someone who has experience making infused sodas to help answer a few questions I have. If anyone here has experience or knows someone who does that would be awesome. Could be a great opportunity for them. Cheers!

Hi qwizoking. Basically I'm curious about the process of mixing the concentrate with the soda or beverage. Since most commercial sodas are in specific mg doses I'm assuming that the extract is added to the bottle before it is filled. I would like to know what type of equipment is used and how this is integrated into an already existing packaging line. I would also like to find out as much as I can about how they are infused too. I realize this has a lot to do with the form of the concentrate but if you could point me in the direction of some good resources that would be great. I would like to know what people are currently using with good results.

How much Capital we talking?
Cans, bottles, foil pac?
The Italians now make the best filling/closing machines, lots of used equipment in the Central Valley .

It would probably be a smaller line at first, like a Meheen M6, and I'm assuming bottles for now. I'm still getting figures together for a larger line but I doubt they want to invest 250k+ at the beginning. This is a side shoot off of a much larger business plan.

Without knowing what type of production targets you are trying to meet......

If you can use the present batch system and combine all products in one tank you will save costs.
Adding product "on the fly" will cost in tooling and WILL require maintenance/labor and be a source of downtime. imo.

...sounds like fun.

I guess my main question is, is it possible to mix a concentrate with the entire batch of soda then fill bottles, cans etc? Or would this lead to inconsistencies in the amount of THC in each bottle? It seems to me the only way to consistently have a specific amount of THC into each individual bottle is to put a small amount in each individual bottle, which seems like a major PITA unless you have something incorporated into the packaging line that does it automatically.

That is exactly what I would like to find out. It would be infinitely easier to blend in a single tank.

Time, temp, viscosity, distance, flow character, elevation from start to fill, all considerations...

Controlling separation in the blending process may require the aid of @curious2garden or maybe cn.

Ive never made soda on any sort of scale. But do some research
its not hard to add nonpolar compounds. Just mix it in the syrup? Like sunkist does..or imitate..you could also add a small amount of ethanol that will hold lots in just a tbsp
