looking for strain help

so i got myself a 3x3x5 grow tent and a 600watt hps/mh combo light i was thinking of doing 4 plants but i think space might be a concern. so im going with 3, i will be doing one auto which will be pineapple express from barneys farm and two feminized seeds White rhino and great white shark from green house seeds. I just want to know if anyone has had good reviews on any of these strains. especially the white rhino and great white shark. Im looking for average yield indoors, how dank is the smell, if the nugs are rock hard, things like that. i do have some grows under my belt but could always use the extra help!

Not a good idea to grow an "auto" strain with feminized plants.

1. Autos should be grown under 24/0 of light. No other type genetics should.

2. Feminized seeds; Despite being feminized, still need to be grown with shorter photo periods. 16/8 or shorter; IN order to create the highest possibility of a female. Feminized seeds do not guarantee females. You must nurture them wiht shorter photo periods, and optimum environment in order to achieve a successful sexing, and, grow.

Grow either, "autos"; Or, fems. Advice is dependent on you having one tent.

Ran autoflowering landrace Sativa's with my photo plants last grow or so.
Easily achieve 90% females with varied bean stock
Many autos will not flower on 24/0
Don't grow a photo at 16 or shorter...

1. *ALL* of the strains I've grown I've cloned and veg'd in a 24/0 cycle. Some for a few days, some for a few weeks, and in many cases, for months at a time as mothers.

2. Where did you get this info on fem seeds. You're right that there's no guarantee, but it's typically 99% (I've never not had a female come from a fem seed). Again, vegging in 24/0 always, like the rest of my plants.

I got my information from "Henk" at Ducth Passion seeds. Amsterdam. There also is an excerpt from Henk's studies on feminized seeds in J. Cervantes; "Indoor grow bible"

My grow methods are sound and practiced by experts around the world.

Early auto flower genetics were designed for stealth medical marijuana grows. They were designed to flower under vegetative photo periods, and did so.

Do not close your mind to new and possibly better grow methods. I was introduced to a Sativa method from friends in the UK years ago. 12/12 from start to finish. Complete Sativa grow finished in 90-110 days. Of course; You all would not believe that...

What's up with these people lately.

The first grow tent I bought was a 3X3X5. I had to learn the hard way that this size tent is too small to grow a decent yield. I constantly ran into complications. Back then I considered myself an amateur, but through trial and error I found this size tent to be most useful for a Mother plant or for vegging. Since then I've graduated into much larger tents. The complications I had started with were heat issues. I had a 400 watt bulb at the time and used 2 90cfm fans for air circulation, but still had heat issues. On that particular grow I found leaving the tent partly open solved this problem. I figured what's the point of having a grow tent if I cant keep it closed. Also I ran into my plants growing too tall and burning the tips. I had 3 plants in there and there were crowding issues. Most of the buds below didn't mature. In the end I think I got like 3 or 4 ounces out of it. I still have this tent, in fact I have 2 now. I use them for my Mother plants under fluorescents with no heat issues. I hope my experience can help you out.

Yeah; That small tent might work for clones, because you can limit the size with sort veg photo period. Will be great for vegging, but not flowering with a 400w

Well; You would be wrong. It has been done. It is proven many times over. Some "people" just cannot accept that there are more than 1 grow technique in the entire world of Cannabis. Those "people" are beyond helping and should allo0w others to make their own choices in regards to information.

latewood is a longtime teacher/mentor of mine for over the last 16 years.
much of what I've learned or forgotten,I learned from him.he was a great help in helping me produce the finest meds i can with the most simple and common sense methods, also helped me become a much better grower.

Yo, he can grow the auto just fine while he veg's the others and then when he switches to 12/12 it will be fine. @snowolf41 i have grown the Pineapple Express and it doesn't yield the best, but it is really tasty and a good smoke. You will enjoy that. Btw, I grow 4 plants in a 2x2 and do just fine, but to each their own.

Yo, 24/0 is actually slightly detrimental to autoflower yields. 20/4 is best. I forgot where I saw the comparison thread, which forum, because after my first grow with them in the same tent as my vegging photoperiod plants I was done with their mediocre quality and yields. 12/12 is detrimental to yields but so is 24/0...18/6-20/4 is the prime spot, aka you can flower them right next to vegging plants, but you can grow them however you want!

well look at all this great advice, i thank you all for it. I did in fact not go with the auto pineapple express i went with just the great white shark and the white rhino, i did this because of two factors one because they both tend to stay somewhat short also i have got a later start than i wanted to on this indoor grow so me and a friend have decided to put these two plants as mothers take about 100 clones of each plant and then flower the mothers and take the clones and just do one big outdoor grow with no space concerns. as for yeild i will be doing a grow journal to see if anyone has any helpful tips at the end of this grow.
