There's some headband from norcal also that I put on the same level as some sour d ..I mean the real deal one that's like diesel ..I think it's called orginal diesel

NYCD reminds me of orginal diesel Aka headband with the smell but the fruity -ness throws everything off after that ..but to ME they share that fuel funk in the beginning ..But NYCD falls off and turns grapefruit /orange fruit

Soma story could be bullshit ..just like all the speculation behind some of these cuts ..but from the limited NYCD I grew and smoked I could see it being a connection somewhere to a diesel ..

@redman ..do u kno of some certified clone spots wit these cuts ?

I haven't found any place that has a sour d clones that are anything like my Nor Cal Sour Deez, it's a orginal sour d cut my rasta friends bought over 15 yrs ago, and that I have held for the last 10yrs, most of the stuff in the clubs are either a cross or a cut that hasn't been taken care of over the last decade and it's lost it's killa smell and potency. Were did you get your cut?? Cuz we hold are cut very close and not many people have it. ( every time I sell my sour d to a club they always want some clones of her, I just smile and say no)

@720 ..I wanted to grow more of them b4 I made a fair judgement ..there's a grow on the mag with it side by side to the clone ..I didn't even do a half of pack

@redman ..sorry for the confusion I wasn't growing it ..I was getting some paks last year ..from a friend in norcal I lost contact with him tho ..but he had some great contacts especially in humbolt..anyway ..I had got some sour NOTHING like what we had here in NYC I asked where it was from and he said norcal ..it would move soo fast once u got the call u had go jump on it or wait 4-5 weeks ..till this day I haven't gotten anything in the same class as that sour ..I maybe got 3 or 4 paks total ..


It's bright green reminds me of the daywrecker diesel but more sour smelling with bright orange hairs ..it's not dense like the NYC sour it's fluffier but in a good way ..

That's how I got the different headbands also ..that's when I realized the sour leaning tasting one was orginal diesel .,and the kushy tasting dense nuggets is the other headband ...don't get me wrong both are good but orginal diesel aka headband is fire !! ..you'll kno if its real once u smell it and smoke it

P.s I heard the aj cut and the sour d cut is the same ..idk ..I do kno that when grown in diffrent places the plants can look Better/worse and make a difference

To me anyway, you nailed it. That's what my boy had for years. I didnt ask him how because I didnt want him sticking his neck out for me but it disappeared from his supplier.

You also got that headband description down pretty good.

Yes the aj cut is the orginal sour d cut.

I've smoked NYCD a few times. Never grew it tho. Most all of the Sour Diesels I have had were always more sour, pungent, and potent than the NYCD that I have had.
