laugh away, all I was doing was trying to find a thread I had seen before and coudn't locate. Why is that so funny or is it the thought of sexing a seed by looking at it's shape? I seriously doubt it's validity but thought it was interesting just the same. Ha ha!

i trust U fdd, but that chart seem like BS to me, honestly...
now theyre gonna have everyone picking thru their bagseeds thinking all the round-bottom seeds are female.
If it were me, I'd grow all 5 of those seeds out and wait till flowering to pull the males ......IMO

Hey it cant hurt... it's not like it makes sense that all the round depression seeds are males

Well its something to think and pay attention too, my next grow i will use both and mark them. should be interesting.

i love when we laugh then sneak off and do it. thanks for the honesty. i have picked a few out using this chart but the results aren't in yet and i lost track.
Frankly I mostly use clones but I thought it would be a fun experiment with some seeds just to see. I seriously doubt it works, though. I have a bunch of top-drawer seeds and they all look the same to me except the little un-ripe ones!
Can't wait to see what the outcome will be. Nothing lost from testing this out across the forum.

ok so here is my 2 cents worth.. it's next to impossible to detect seeds that are female and male.. unless your the smart ass that set it up and know what seed come from a female and the males.. point in hand take 5 beans from a reputable seed bank (attitude) is who i used to compare. and the seeds that i got that are female look just like the bag seed of some regs that my buddy has.. even under the microscope ,jewelers glass and a hand held magnifying glass. so if you can show me proof then it's just a myth to me.. just my opinion so it's like an ass they all stink at one point..lol good luck and if there is a way please show the world..

super old ass thread, but anyhoo's, i don't think sex is determined in seeds, how else can you explain hermie plants?? if a seed was only male or a female, there would be no such thing as hermies, where both male and female traits are expressed in the same plant??
