Looking for XP tokers!

Hmm. i try to keep this simple and to the point. I am not a experienced toker. Everything i have had up to this point has been a mix-mash supplied by friends, which consisted of everything from dirt weed to unknown hydro. I would like to start simple and am looking for good examples of different effects. Indica/salvita? mix? i dont care. im looking for two seeds/strains or possibly three to experiment with and would like opinions on what is a good example. im not looking for a perfect high. im looking for the difference in what is offered. im not a fan of a hard couch lock trait.. but that does not mean i dont want to chill out without being incompasitated either! LOL. I guess what im asking for is a few good recomendations of a couple different strains to give me a feel for what each can achieve. keep in mind im a newb. I dont know if i can handle the hardcore smokes. Stuff like barneys LSD / Dutch Shaman i am very curious about however dont know if i am ready for that jump. looking for expert advice. thanks a TON ..

Indica = stoned salvita= high

try to get some purp to smoke, strong but nice, taste amazing to smoke
if u must buy seeds
skunk haze seedmen combo ind/sal cheap as hell too
to begin start with bag seed

what do you really want to know? what types of highs you can expect from certain strains? the qualaty of the smoke is all based on how its grown. just as a good strain can be pollenated and full of seeds and bricked up it would be the same as shwag, howerver if you grow a seed from brick weed with care and skill youd get quality bud 100x better than the dirt you pull the seeds from

are you thinking about growing, or are you still just a smoker/buyer

any recommendations as for strains? it gets very confusing on seed sites when you start looking Salvita... but feels like Indica... hybrids.... cross strains and pure... hell anymore i feel like a kid in a candy factory. It all looks good@! haha but i guess im looking for tried and true examples and not the flavor of the day.

i would start out with a bagseed and do some experimenting....then jump to the pricy beans....but then again if you have the money then go with some seedbanks...since you really dont like the couchlock high i would go with a type of haze...you cant go wrong...just my opinion though..

northern lights or ak easy as pie, its strong tho and will give a stoned effect

if your lookin to buy seeds, id get an easy ryder or something. it seems like the perfect strain for beginers. short, autoflowering, and its got AK47 in its genealogy, so it has to be good smoke

i agree with the others though, grow a bagseed plant so you learn what your doing without wasting an expensive plant

Yes you summed it up. what highs can be expected from what strains. i have done my homework and know what ind/sal diff is.. but also realize a lot changes w/ the hybrids. with a grow being constant across the board using Fem. seeds. is my goal. im not interested in commercial yeilds or cash crop. just personal satisfaction on good shit. I guess im looking for personal favorites of each? sorry for my vagueness but i dont have a proxy server and am a bit parinoid chattin like this.

wow thanks a lot fellas. im supprised of the replies so fast. but just so you know i have done my homework and am looking at a very nice stealth hydro setup. i have a extensive HVAC and electrical background to make this pro along with being around some mild agriculture/gardening. while i dont mind trying the beginners stuff dont get me wrong, im ready to go straight to hydryo. in fact its planned. Autoflowerign isnt a big deal. in fact .. personally i would rather control the flower. ... as an example.

dont wory bro, no ones trying to bust a small time first grower. do not let the Internet trolls slandering RIU scare you. fdd is not a cop. and the dea isnot monitoring this site, even if they were, the recorces required to set up a bust are not worth info from a chat forum. also its really vauge info to be getting search warrents on..

ps im not vouching for this seed bank, i just like their description. i dont use seed banks. when i grow, its my style to find seeds in weed that i liked and grow that

I have heard very good stuff about Kush and low ryder both. exp low ryder/ AK 47 strain. I have considered them but damn. at the prices the seed banks want... fk i dont want 2 strains that give the same effect. me being new want a couple strains that have different effects? does that make sense? as for me.. sorry too many horror stories. I live in Missouri where 1 plant can get you 7 years and is a FEL. fkers. But... im a cautious family man whom is ONLY looking to satisfy a personal craving. no selling or even sharing for that matter...

I guess i dont understand yoru reasoning... if i have the means and abiltiy to grow any given strain and understand how the change in light and timers work... why would i want to go with a bagseed or autoflowering variety? not to insult... im just asking because i dont understand. I do know, im not a xp toker lol. that said.. i woluld also like to try some higher grade stuff if i have the ability vs. some corner gangster weed... ? why waste my time growing lesser weed if i can and dont mind spending the xtra bucks for good shit? i guess thats my question. ... other than the obvious answer..."cuz XX strand is a bitch to grow and you will kill it, waste your time and money and run a risk and get shit in return"... that.. it about my worst case scenerio w/o getting busted. haha

youd be surprised at how a bagseed plant comes out if its well cared for, man. im tellin you you should get 1 grow under your belt, or even get to flowering so you know what your doing before you spend money on genetics and seed banks.

im sugesting autoflower strains for their fast flower time. you could get a good amount of small plants growing and then harvest sooner, meaning run the risk of getting caught shorter. also easy ryder is a great stong plant that grows fast and its forgiving for noob growers. fuck, i sound like im selling the shit

Kaleo.. hhaa i thank you man. i started 2 threads and your keeping up with me. Like i said... im looking for advice and what you said makes sense. i might as well try a cheap grow to get this under my belt. whats it gonna hurt a couple months? i can understand you and appreciate it. im just the kind of guy that like to jump in the water on the deep end i guess.

i started my first grow that way and made some of the silliest stupidest mistakes that could have been done. i just jumped into growing without knowing anything about anything(i was like 15), sure that i could do it no matter what i fucked up it would grow cuz its a weed. turns out its not a weed its a flowering plant. and after 2 weeks i had a 10 inch tall lanky plant with 4 little leafs and it was all bending.

heres a few mistakes i maks my first time

to rough with germinated seeds

wrong soil, i used a clay like soil from the yard

over watered, i watered every day at the same time, regardless of if the plat was thirsty

wrong lighting, incandescent light bulb for a week then when i got a CFL it was 5in away and not really doing much

no ventilation

i could keep going on but.........

point is ive learned, through reading and experience

ya man thats where my pride gets the best of me. I hate to be clumped into the abstract land of the ignorant. because I DO do my homework and I DO read the books. Nothing i have heard here is anything different that what i have read other than the humbling XP of growing cheap weed first. Outside of that i was just asking for personal preferance is all. As far as age.. shit.. when i was 14 it was quite outside my imqagination to skirt the boundarys of legality such as this. but now. idk mabe i have matured to a point that i have come to the realization of... fk U. fuck u and dbl fk u to tell me what i can and cant do to my own body. that pretty much sums it up.
