Ello all, I am in a shitty position. I'm in a non-med state. And I have three partners, which two are investors and one is my buddy that I am teaching him "how to grow" and he helps me trim and all the other chores. I am the head grower and I own all the equipment. 14,000w's of lights, AC hoods, ballast, tons of fans and other typical equipment used for indo.

I am looking to break away from my partners and become legal or atleast more legal then where I am. I fear my days are numbered here before something happens, and I end up a POW.

I have a huge passion for this plant, it's what I eat, breathe and sleep. I've been growing since I was 15 years old, now 30.. I can forsure say that I am a veteran.

My investors are making very foolish decisions. One example is one my investors decided he was going to steal power instead of paying the bill just, recently without my knowledge.. well the power company found out the very next day and cut the power. It took him 10 days to have it reconnected, resulting in basically losing a 8K crop in one of the houses. I am stuck in a hard place because this is what I do for a living. A 8K lose is devastating to me. But having to split the profit four ways has become unprofitable. It's basically minimum wage with a risk of a felony. The whole reason I had partners is because they asked me to do so, I said yes. I have free rent, car, bills and etc..

But everything has become stagnant and I KNOW nobody is going to make any money, but if I tell them, I would be homeless. Without anything. But that time is coming soon. We've been doing this for over a year now and my partners have only seen about $10K each, which doesn't even cover the rent. I am starting to get very depressed and running out of options. I keep having to move houses everytime I get a house fully blown out and dialed in, something always happens and I havevgo to a new house, set it up, then move again. Plus not being legal, I live in constant paranoia, high anxiety and chronic insomnia.I am a hard working, young man.

I am writing this hoping that someone in California or Oregon might need some help. I am willing to do whatever is needed. I know that maintaining a large garden is a full time job. So if you or anyone you know needs help with a outdoor, indoor or GH..... please let me know.

I am basically going to finish this run and one more large crop and move to NWP coast with what money I have saved up. I need help getting my foot in the door. I know a lot of people try to move up there and don't make it. But then again I am sure a lot of people do make it. If anyone of y'all know anything that can help me or any information on good jobs or cheap rent or someone that knows someone that can help, please let me know.

Feel free to PM if you don't want to post it openly. I have been on the site since 07. Was banned for giving out free seeds that I had bred. But RIU let me back in. I am pretty trusted on here. And have journals of my outdoor and indoor garden's. I never have any conflict on here. And have shared some of my life's most intimate moments here on RIU. Anyone that follows me know more about me than any ex GF, family or friends know. I live a secluded life that evolves around this plant.

My experience.... I have 15 years of outdoor and indoor gardening, marijuana and food crops. And MJ experience. 2nd generation grower btw..

I ran ran a hydroshop as the GM for over 3 years.

I have worked for Fafard soil. As a yard manager and heavy equipment operator mixing hoppers of different mediums, turning composted coir, peat and bark full time everyday for over 4 years. So needless to say I have tons of knowledge in every aspect of gardening. I am also a handy man, mechanic and own a bunch of tools and a trailer and truck. If you need 14K for light a light dep GH... I got it!

If you are indoor gardener that looking to expand I have tons of equipment. 14 complete HID lights, two co2 burners, 6 inline fans, carbon filters, 2-100 amp sub panels with wired ready to go.. pH and ppm pens. RO system and 8 years of my of my breeding stock. I have some proven strains that I have bred, F3's and Bx2's.

So I have a lot to bring to the table, I am not asking for a free ride. I will work 12 hours or more everyday of the week to be successful doing this. I know even you med guys still don't ever fell a 100% safe but the pressure living in a non-med state is overwhelming. I am single, no kids, no baggage and 30 years old, 6'5" in good health and highly motivated. It's just me, my dog, my genetics and my equipment. I met my investors here doing home rehabs and consultant grow op's from a framework of people I met through when I ran the hydroshop. They would even be willing to invest in me moving up there from where I am, however I am really trying to break away from them and do this on my own or with one of y'all or whatever. I am in stuck in a shitty situation and looking to exit the tunnel before I get caught up with the law here and lose my life to the system.

Stay safe everyone...

So I have located a couple homeless shelters in Oregon, I am thinking about just packing up, and rolling out. Get a storage building to leave all my equipment in. And start all over fresh again. It's not really the most pleasurable thing to do. But atleast it's better then jail..

Move to Oregon man... you have 1 full year to get ready before things go completely legal. 2016 OLCC will have all the business regulations drawn up and it will be the new wild west!

Why dont you just rent.a house solo where you are currently and go smaller 4-6k. Build up from there. If you have the gear you only need 5k or so till first harvest. cash that out and find a place in California or oregon.

Try to roll solo if you can. Less hassle then having a team I think.

It's TEXAS. They're a fascist country who executes more people than the rest of our bloodthirsty nation COMBINED. GTFO. That is all.

So you know where you want to go, what you want to do that's more than many ppl. you don't want the partners to be with you in PNW so take any payment they will give you for the equipment. discount the fuk out of it take a loss just get out. most important now is cash. then pick a city. craigslist will have rooms for rent and you will see a lot of '420 friendly'. transitions are always stressful and complex but you know what you want as an end result. you gotta be in the vacinity before you can meet someone. talk to @legallyflying and ask if he knows any heavy hitters where you want to go. check all the other boards. we have an Oregon Patients subforum.

Keep in mind it is a saturated market out here. Its not like it was a few years ago. Profitable-yes, but not like it was. If you decide to vend to medical clubs be very careful who you grant consignment to. My advice is bring another skill or trade with you. Most likely you will need it to help supplement the income

Damn dude if someone with your experience I hoping to just land a garden grunt job that leaves me feeling oretty hopeless lol.
Seriously though you seem like a pretty stand up dude from our few interactions so I hope everything goes well for yoy and you land on your feet out there, looking to make the move some time soon myself.
I can sympathize with the partner aspect since that is how I started out was a 50/50 deal I grow he slangs we split profits and costs. Long story short we split on good terms, he took our last harvest I took the equipment and started over on my own. Now I just have a buddy who helps me and I show him what is what like you are doing.
Hope you get out safely, and if you do get out there and find yourself in need of a garden grunt you know where to find me lol.

I don't mean to sound like a dick or anything, just giving you a good dose of reality about oregon. #1..you don't have a flying fucking chance in hell of having anything to do with the recreational market...besides maybe trimming.

The OLCC is NOT going to be buying weed from 5,000 growers and that is a conservative estimate of the number of growers in Portland.

It's cut throat out here dude. CUT THROAT. It is not enough to grow dank ass weed here, LOTS of people can do that here.

Anyways.. if your going to move to oregon to grow and sell medical weed I would pick a smaller city.

Again, just trying to help dude. For real

I just read a article talking about this was a bad year for outdoor in the emerad triangle this year, due to water shortages and price drop, but then I see people like doublejj and Garden Boss killing it. My problem here is having four partners and limited space and confined to indoors.
