PH is 15% Indica.

Also its pretty well accepted Purple Thai has Indica in it from long ago.

Purple Haze

Sativa 85 / Indica 15
Origins: Purple Thai x Haze
Harvest: late October

The name of this now infamous sativa strain is well known to smokers and non-smokers alike, popularized both by its magnificent qualities and the not so surprising embrace by the Hippie subculture of the 60’s and 70’s. Purple Haze is truly one of the classic strains, its buds full of color and flavor, and always a pleasure to smoke.

True to its Sativa genetics, Purple Haze likes to stretch out into a tall plant, covered with dark green leaves and purple buds. While not tall enough to “kiss the sky”, plants are statuesque and beautiful, with long, running buds that possess pleasing density and a sticky coating of trichomes.

When grown outdors, Purple Haze can be harvested at the end of October, yielding about 350g per plant. Some growers delay the harvest to allow colder weather to bring out even more purple. When grown indoors, Purple Haze has a 65 day flowering period, and can yield 400-500 grams of tasty purple buds per square meter.

Purple Haze is an extremely smooth and tasty smoke, combining the sativa qualities of the Haze with the color, smell, and taste added by the Purple genetics. The high is clear headed, uplifting, and euphoric.

Sativa Dominant Hybrid - 85% Sativa / 15% Indica

THC: 26%

Purple Haze is a sativa dominant hybrid (85% sativa/15% indica) strain that is a potent cross between the rare yet popular Purple Thai X Haze strains. This dank bud boasts a THC level ranging from 14-19% on average and an array of sativa and indica effects. Purple Haze was named after Jimi Hendrix's classic 1967 song and is one of the most famous strains ever thanks to its popularity in the 1960s. Users describe the Purple Haze high as one with almost immediate high-energy cerebral stimulation accompanied by an intense sense of creative inspiration and blissful contentment. You may experience a mild body buzz that is warming and spreads from your head and neck throughout the rest of your body. Due to these potent effects, Purple Haze in ideal strain for treating patients suffering from conditions such as fatigue, mild to moderate cases of depression, and chronic stress or anxiety. Purple Haze has long, dense pepper-shaped nugs that are light minty green with rich purple undertones. These nugs are covered in long thin light and dark purple hairs and a fine layer of milky white trichomes and sweet sticky resin. Purple Haze has a sweet earthy berry aroma and a pungent berry taste with a hint of spice.
Oh that's cool, had no idea purple Thai had indica in it.

I just harvested 3 pupil star from mass medical. Order from D.C. Seed exchange. They all started to turn purple from the very beginning. One was dark purple almost black. Another looks like a crown royal bag. And the 3rd is more pink than it is purple. All grew very well. Also got a free "pu tang" pupil star x tangie. This plant is prob 50 percent purple and green. All are curing now. If you want purple pupil star is the one!!

"Plemon" by Breeders Boutique if you want genuine purple genetics. This has nothing to do with temps as she came out the seed purple!
This was a tester FEM seed:

Another one that is supposed to be all purple genetics not requiring low temps is "Purple Envy" by Feminized Seeds. I have these seeds but I haven't personally grown them out yet.

I will hand it to you whyte, a lot more purple/blue in various sativa lines than I had realized... Not used to being wrong, but I think this qualifies lol Def found a couple wild sativas exhibiting blues/pinks.
For the record though, none of MY sativas (in 21+ years of growing) have ever darkened under low temps ;) lambs bread, kerala, haze, to name a few... whered all the 16+ week lambs bread go, btw? Seeing some LB being listed as 12 week finishers... def not the LB I grew out, early 2000's

Nice flower! Did you notice consistant color like this with all the girls? I just copped a pack of them myself so Im curious.
hi man, i originally only had 2 beans of those germinate, one total purp from first calyx, other pheno was a stouter higher yielding relatively ordinary non color type, i pollen chucked C99 onto them, with the resulting offspring oddly for the pure purp only 1 in 10 germinate and a high male to female ratio? yet in the other non purp pheno chuck all germinate with a high female to male count & approx 30%-50%(varies from year to year?) are true purp pheno's, rest are nice but plain Janes compared(visually though both types are top smoke)

Thanks for the reply. With the original PRK strain, was it a noticable raspberry/berry flavor/smell on one more than the other betwen the green and the purple phenos? Also, how long did you let it go?

yes the purp types have a very Raspberry Syrupy odour, the plain pheno had a Chocolate odour, the ones ive got going now should be finished in about another 2 wks, making it approx 55/60 days, pic of the solo original PRK(purp pheno) that wore C99 pollen

original chocolate odour non purp PRK pheno loaded up with C99 pollen

It's all good man, I learn new shit every day. And I've been doing this awhile. No one will ever learn everything. I' just happy to learn what I can. I'm running a cross right now of lambs bread x star pupil. There are green phenos and purple. I'm testing for mass medicals. I've run 100s of diff strains. I'e NVR smelled one this strong. Carbon filter doesn' really help at all.

Star Pupil x Lambs Bread
