Lossing a WHOLE crop 11 days from harvest

I just want to express my situation to everyone here at RIU. I live in an apartment and have been happily growing in private for a couple of years but just bought HID lightings, Hydro System, and built a computer system to control all of the growing equpiment. My plants are set to be harvested on June 1st but my land lord will be doing an inspection on may 19. Everything is well hidden for a casual look but I think its just to much a risk to keep them through the inspection. I was getting ready to move out in june to avoid this shit and they have to go and pull this shit 11 days to soon. I look at my plants with such sadness knowing that they will never finish and are by far the best plants I have ever grown. I'm sure my fellow members can feel this pain. This shit really suxs!!!

i feel for ya man........ anyway you can chop them early so you at least get something from them? maybe some hash.

There is always the hash so it won't be a complete loss but I'm sure you know how dramatically the last two weeks of flowering changes the flower

Just tell your landlord your situation and Im sure he or she will understand.






Maybe offer a bit you know share the love

Tell them at the last minute that you have an emergeny and have to postpone.. And see if you can move them during the dark period too a safer local or just figure out a way too hold it off untill their ready or at least moveable... GOOD LUCK

My involvement with realestate and rentals lets me state with certainty that in most of the lower 48 landlords only need give 3 to 5 day notice before entering the premises (in some cases 24 hrs) so don't count on telling them to wait they can come in with or without you. If it's some sort of closet lock it they are not allowed to go through your personal belongings!

dont know how big your girls are at this point. but i had the same situation last year. got all 4 of them to fit perfectly in the dryer. im a fucking genius. if they are to big. call up a buddy to baby sit

Why don't you just bolt lock the door to your growroom and leave for eleven days?

They might be able to get into the apartment but if they can't get through your personal bedroom lock I doubt they'll kick the door in.

Rent a van or a uhaul. Get some tall trash cans a few CFLS and a AC adapter for the van or truck. during the night put them in the trash cans and walk them casualy out to the van or truck. Either drive them to a friends, or keep them there untill he is done. There are plenty of things you can do, Get a hotel room, rent a storage unit for a month. There light cycle can get interupted one time. You really just need to put them somewhere for a day right. You can even move them during there light cyle. just put a couple of flashlights in the barrel to keep them awake. they will be fine.

I have moved mine this way for family visits on numberous occasions. They alway turnout o.k. It works great. i usually put them at a friends house, but one time they went right into a van for the night. It was a moving van with only a few windows. Watch out for light leaks..

Hasn't anyone ever lost power while flowering? It's the same as that. Just move them, they will be fine.

Or you could just change the locks on your apartment, and tell him you cant do the walkthrough for a week or two. If he tries to enter, he will not be able to enter due to the new locks. Its then up to him to either break into your apartment, which he wont do, OR he will contact you and ask you why you changed the locks. Your answer will be that you broke up with a gf and she was crazy and she has the key.

Over the years i have been left to clean up the mess and foot the bill that UNRESPONSABLE growers have left behind in my rentals.
And by unresponsable i mean :bashing holes in walls, mildew, water leaks/stains, bugs, fucked electrical.
So here, the law allows us a check once a month. Which i always did. If a door was locked, i asked it to be opened. If they couldn't open it, i called the lock smith. If i were you, i'd move the plants. Also, if your landlord is not the owner, and hired, he is responsible to a higher power and may check even more throughly then a relaxed howdoyado owner.
I think the van idea is an excellent one!! I should go buy a trailer and grow in that!!

This man knows! everyone that says change your lock they won't bother is crazy LOCK SMITH...... Whoever checks does not want to lose there job, or if they are the owner they feel more obligated cuz they are more involved. Uhaul is the best idea. I was gonna Uhaul it 1 time but it wasnt a landlord problem. I lived in a duplex and had a garage with a hidden room in the back. I was doing a hydro grow and gettin them big for about 5 months when A drug task force officer approached me and started asking about my safety because my neighbor was a meth dealer/pimp. I found this out 3 months before but back then he didn't bring his work home. The task force guy gave me his card if I had more info, that I did but not for him I told my neighbor. I got scared cuz If they think it's his garage (police have made mistakes before an I couldnt afford a lawyer) or the dogs sniff it out then im in some shit! I was about 3 weeks away and was like fuck it press on. Then I pull up to my driveway and hes got 3 dudes arguing with him I went in my house then heard some yelling I cam out to see him and one man still arguing. He knocked that man out and then a car flew by the cross street pointed a shotgun at him and he had his Beretta out so now we are both crouching behind a truck......then the cops came.....Yea the next morning I chopped everything put it in a barrel covered it with ammonia and took it to the dump. I almost thought it was worth waiting, I was wrong!
