Lost little girl...

*insert long deep sob*
Soooo my dog ate my babies... AGAIN!
This is the second time in 4 months he did this!
The first time he ate all 4 and none survived.
I CRIED FOR DAYS! I really wasnt even sure I would try again but then I remembered they are just plants and he's a puppy he doesn't know any better.
So I popped two more seed after I recovered 4 weeks later he ate them both the day I put them into a bigger pot...
I have one left...
Its been three days...
She is still very green... but I just dont know what to do...
She was 6 weeks old when he ate it.
I repotted it...
It just looks so pitiful...
6 weeks old
Outdoor grow

I dunno...
I started with 6 babies and now just this one is standing... its so discouraging! Please help! I have no idea what to do next. Maybe just toss it and buy a grow tent and wait to try growing anything else until I get one.

Feel like a failure

I know
I know
Its just a plant...

Dont feel like a failure man, if it makes you feel any better i just had to give a flowering plant the chop because it went intersex and was full of seeds. It is a weed so it may bounce back but its gonna be a couple weeks. Get the grow tent and get a good light, its worth every penny. Keep the damn dog away from the plants and pop a few more seeds in the soil and keep at it.

You didn't fail. You just learned a lesson, and now know what happens when you leave your plants anywhere an animal can get to them.

Could be worse, you could have gotten a lot further along before he ate them, and that would have hurt a lot worse. At least there's a chance it will bounce back.

Also you could have grown perfect buds and found dog hair in them. That sucks too.

Now you know you just gotta find a way to isolate the plants from the dog. If you are gonna stick with outdoors maybe u could try one of those mini greenhouse things? Not sure if he would rip through it to get to them still. In that case maybe an indoor tent is better.

So sorry for your loss, totally feeling your pain.

I guess the unfortunate answer might be that she is just going to be a labour of love and not rewards. Is she an auto? Will probably get new shoots at some point but if you're outside and - depending on your locale - we've only got till second week of September before the daylight hours drop to 12/12, so getting some bud is pretty unlikely.

I'm also guessing that as you have a lovely connection to your plants, you probably have a bigger one with your dog and restricting him/her is perhaps worse to you that losing ladies? A kind suggestion is that your current arrangement isn't suited to outdoors, and yes, time for a tent.

Personally, I would keep her, put her in a decent good looking bonsai pot and let her enjoy whatever life she has left on a rooftop or windowsill. I have (unfortunately she's now past-tense) one who never really made it from seed, her name is Taz the Spaz, and she lives happily in her bonsai pot next to my apple tree, and baby Oaks. I've attached a pic.

All the best with your new grow opportunities!

You're going to murder your weed man?!? Wow, things must be bad! Lol.

Joking aside, I started because I was so sick of the weed man. The weedman sucks! Ok, there was one guy called Beetroot, and he was ok.

All the best!
