Lots of new white pistils week 8 into flower

Hi guys, I am running a small tent and one of my girls closest to the light (250w led) is starting to produce an abundance of new white pistils. They have 3 days left of week 8 then a week of flushing which would make 9 weeks since flip.
My question is she not ready for harvest yet and going through a second growth spurt or could this be down to light stress. They were under a 600w hps until week 6 of flower then switched to led for leccy bill reasons!

This looks like she is trying to tell you that she wants more time and no flush...

Appreciate the quick reply. That's what I was thinking. They are actually only day 54 from flip. Been on reduced EC of 1.7 from 2 for the last 4 days.
Should I keep running them for another 14 days then try a flush if they look ready. I would say 70% of the Triches are milky at tbe moment.

I do it like this: start to count your flowering days since the stretch has been stopped (or add at least 2 weeks to breeders BS estimate flowering time). You want swollen calyxes and receeded pistils. I have noticed that plants also drink much less when they are ready to chop, so you can also get another clue when your watering frequency is being longer than ussuall. I do not decide by trichromes, ofc they are being also checked. I grow mostly sativa dominant hybrids, sometimes they are not getting amber at week 13 (counted without stretch period) at all. Environment plays a huge role in flowering time as well as fuk ups during stretch and many other things.

Thanks mate will probably leave them another two weeks then see about the flush. These Cutts were of a hybrid ice cream cake.

Could be your change of lights is having an effect and the more blue spectrum from the LEDs as well as a rather dramatic cut in power is keeping new flowers appearing. Also, a lot of the stuff raise will take nearly 70 days.

Could be an idiosyncrasy of the plant, most Greenpoint strains I’ve run throw white pistils till chop.

Isn't it counter intuitive for a notes company to advise a flush? They could be losing 10-20% revenue ( assuming each grower would stop using one or two weeks out of a 10wk cycle ). Just a thought

Thanks mate. First time using the leds so still not sure what to expect. Took me a while to move from the good old hps though! Will be leaving her a little longer anyway and see what happens.

Looks like a general consensus of wait it out and let her finish. Will post more pics in another week or two show how she is getting on. There are two smaller baclavas in the same tent so hope they all plump up nicely

From a timing standpoint no bud is ever done in that timeframe. Looking at the photos the way to be sure its not done is to see all the calyxes with white hairs sticking out further down the stems. That says its all new growth not a lighting issue.

Hope it takes many more weeks. Every week is more mass and more thc. Dont be surprised if you have 4 or more weeks left.

4 weeks would add a lot of weight if that's the case but I will be skint by then from having to buy....hey ho that's life!

No because they make flush nutrients simply because there is a gigantic market for it and not because it flushes plants

No other market flushes consumables. Just a thought.
