Hello there fellow growers.... for starters Do not Hesitate to correct me at all and definetly feel free to give me some tips for sure..

I recently Tin Foiled a 1.5X4ft old wood box to start growing MJ ... This box happens to be right beside my big guitar amp that is loud enough for gigs and I like to play loud ... I just wanted to know that when I play ...are the vibrations and loud sound going to damage anything with the plants or the growing process.....

Also Im new to Indoor growing..... Im using a T20 08 plant/aquarium strip light for lighting and Im using "Shults" Indoor/Outdoor soil... I would like to know a good timeframe for the lighting...Ive asked many people and they all have different answers... usually around 9 to 15 hours a day they say but I would like to know a good exact timeframe.. so i decided to try the internet and see what everyone has to say....

Im sorry for typing out too much shit for people to read lol

You can vegg under a light cycle of 24/0 18/6 light/dark. & you begin the flowering stage under 12/12. As for the soil avoid using nutes for about a month. The dirt has plent of natural nutes in it so it's east to over fert. Also avoid overwatering. Once a week or let the dirt go dry. The dirt going dry is a good process as it allows air to leak in the dirt & your roots use it to breath. Too much water too wet dirt suffocates your roots.
As for the lights I dnt think that's enough light. Look into getting some grow lights. Insidesun.com has real cheap hps or metal hallide lighting systems. If your on a budget then get some floros. For vegging your looking for a kelvin value of 6500k & for flowering your looking for a 2700k.
I personally use 6 300watt equivalent compact floros. They only use about 68watts each.
As for the loud music & vibrations I've heard a myth that the vibrations stimulate root growth. Just a myth though I hope some1 can give you a good fact on that subject.
& most important of all get a fan going. Air circulation is your plants best friend. The light breeze also makes your plants grow strong stems.

look into sonic bloom by dan carlson, using sounds similar to birds chirping and crickets, his study has shown that there is actually an increase in stoma size and in how much they open in response to the sounds. He coupled this with a seaweed foliar feed to grow guinness book of world record plants. One example, a house plant that normally grows 18" grew to 1/8th of a mile! Plants have myriad mechanisms to regulate their growth, internal regulators & external stimuli. Studies have shown that while even indoors year round, plants can still follow the natural seasons occurring outdoors. So, why couldn't one of these external stimuli be the sounds of birds singing, "telling" the plants that it's daytime & time to get growing..... Many studies have also shown concretely that playing classical and Baroque music to plants can increase their growth rate up to 27%..... do some research and have alil faith. Can't hurt @ all, the amount of electricity used to run a speaker set is negligible, especially compared to all the other equipment being used.. I have a playlist of sounds of nature, birds singing, whole forests alive, water & crickets etc.. w/ some schubert #8 playing and I BELIEVE that its helping. I can't PROVE it, but imho its doing something.
I may be a novice, but i also have a degree in biology & have taken many plant biology and physiology courses- gaining much knowledge from those devoted to lives in the plant research fields .... Take it as you will, Just giving my two cents
