Has anyone ever used the lotus cfl for veg.. just want to know what your expierence with em are and what kind of coverage i can expect, i ordered 2 of em for my 5'x28" veg/mother room.

No one uses em.??...Guess I'll be the guinea pig, Keep an eye out I'll be starting a grow journal. Very soon.
I have not used them for veg. but I have on flowering , I know they worked for me but I have a micro grow I bought 4 of the 150 w mini's , 2 dual and 2 2700k I figured try anything once . so far paying off ! Good luck with your grow dont forget to post , i live in a non friendly grow state I simply will not post , cant afford to take any more of a chances than i already am. Peace !!!!

So far so good with the lotus CFL, Only issue i had is that One of em Broke, But the Manufacture was more than willing to send a replacement and they said i can keep and use the old one, Apparently their are 2 ballasts, one for each half and designed so if one side goes out, its still a high output 100w. As far growth goes, i have 5 Strains going under them, 21 plants total, and the growth is Phenomenal. Definatly Gonna stick with these for veg , moms and cloning.

I'm also looking into these. Huge fan of the dual spectrum. I know these would be great for veg!

I use these, they work wonderful for veg, producing little heat so u can place them very close to the canopy, i run clones and use 2 in my bloom chamber, it gets the job done, not as dense as id prefer, but i have to make due with what i have, i use the dual spectrum mini lotus in both cabs, and i love these bulbs, i have had trouble finding info on them though so i did the same, trial runs and so on, have a few pics posted but i was still figuring things out at that time (bulb spacing from plant had a horrible stretch in bloom before i added the 2nd bulb)
