Another milestone today! I got home and one of the plants had grown a set of balls, so I had to cut him down where he stood.

That leaves me with 3 other plants. So far they all look like females.

I have a question about nutes: its week 1 of flowering, where should my nutes be? Right now they are around 475 but I believe thats low, I'm worried about burning them tho.

Advice?

I too would like the answer to that. Do you need to change nutes to blooming? I use aqua flakes part A & B can I use that through the flowering phase?

I use 800ppm nutes, and people say that is really conservative for hydro. I havent had any burn, and supposedly white widow, which i am growing, doesnt like to much nutes. I am surprised that you are that far in to the grow and only using 475 ppm. Well its better than over nuting them but I would bump it up to at least 800. Some people will say more some, some will say alot more, but i like to play it safe.

4/28 Update.

One of the plants decided to just now show his balls, so he met a swift death.

Now I've got 2 plants - One huge broad girl, and one shorter compact one. I made a single dwc 5gal bucket, cost about $40.

PPMs are around 750s and pH 5.8-6.0

Plus I came up with an idea for res changes. I simply lined the 5 gallon bucket with 3 trashbags. So instead of having to take everything apart and scrub it with bleach solution I just have to empty the majority of the water, then pull out the bag, and presto! New, sterile container.

Hey the trash bag idea sounds like a pretty good idea. One question I have is, when you top off your nutrient solution (your res), do you pour it through the top? or do you lift off the lid?

I just lift the lid. I know a few people might say something about algae, but the lids only off a few moments.
