Low Budget Hydro Grow

Aight guys an gals good to be here an looking forward to sharing my current grow with y'all. I'm new to growing and have half a grow under my belt haha not quite finished but all is going well around 6 weeks into flowering, so I figured I would start a grow journal for my next grow. I know that my setup is not ideal already and I am looking to improve/change it as soon as possible but for now this is just a journal.

So let get on with my set up, the things I will be using are :-
2x Aerogardens (will veg in here).
2x Air Pumps
4x Airstones
2ft 4 tube Maxibright T5
300watt Flowering CFL (in use on my current grow).
Canna Aqua nutrients.
Couple of timers.
1 Big Ass Fan.
GT205i NFT Tray (in use on my current grow).
Few Yo-yo's.
Cheap EC pen.
Cheap PH pen.

I have just popped the seeds on a plate with some wet tissue paper to germ them while I am trying to stabilise temps with the t5 running, I had a few heat issues on my last grow mainly due to lack of space and this has continued over to my next grow. Worst case I will just use the lights that come with the Aerogarden but hoping to use the T5.

The strains I will be running this time are all autos so I will be sticking with 20/4 light schedule, as far as nutrients go I using the Canna Aqua line along with their grow guide although I found on my current grow to water it down around 20% from cannas guidelines.

1x Pyramid Auto Wembley
1x Nirvana Bubbelicious Auto
1x Bombs Seeds Auto Bomb

Any questions or advice feel free to comments.

I don't have any instructing pictures just yet but will be sure to get some up asap.

Day 1

Despite the apparent lack of interest I am going to continue with the journal even if it is just for my records.

Check on the seeds I had germinating and they all looked about ready to go.

First thing I did was dip the root in some Clonex just to try and promote rapid root growth, then stuck them in the Aerogarden pods. Next I moved onto the light due to limited space I didn't think these tiny little seedlings would hold up to the 80 degrees that the t5 brings the small enclosure to so I removed 2 of the bugs just until they are big enough to take the heat. For nutrients I have a 4 liter res so I used 2ml of Canna Aqua A+B and 4ml of Rhizotonic and a splash of PH Down.
PH=4.9 (I know this is low but as the water reaches temp and settles I know this will rise in the next 24 hours).
EC=.5 (Tap water is .09).

Think that just about covers it for today and I've added a few pics if anyone is interested (or not as seems to be the case).

Hey good luck with your project!

Please don't take this negatively, as I am trying to help not insult....

I would spend some serious time CLEANING your grow space.....Completely dirt and dust free....Disinfect every square inch of the floors, walls and ceiling with a mild bleach detergent.

And from the looks of that heat register coming into the room on the lower right hand side of the floor, . . . . . Holy Moly that things looks nasty bro!

Great grows that go seamlessly from start to finish, are not easily achieved in less than clean environments.

Hey UnderTheSun, while I appreciate your concern I can assure you it has been disinfected prior to starting this grow, unfortunately who ever painted before me didn't bother to clean it first and it now needs sanding and reprinting due to dust a muck under the coat of paint. While I would have liked to have fixed this I didn't want to put any more time into this area than completely neccesery as I am currently setting up a much better grow environment. I already have 2 very healthy plants that where proper gated this way one is in the final days of flush and the other is around 3 weeks away from finishing with now issues so far.
