Sounds good. Super short and bushy and 30 days from sprout. Yea I had some bugs which I added Diatemaceous Earth and some yellow sticky traps a couple days ago. They don’t seem to be multiplying.. for now!

When you hit flower mode and they get bigger you will need to water more. You might want to consider setting up a times auto water system. When I used to do coco/perlite drain to waste, I would water 3 to 5 times during lights on on a timer. They will start needing a lot more nutes when they get bigger. What sort of lighting are you using? Looks pretty blue, which is likely why they are staying compact.

Oh, and as far as the bugs, try to identify what they are. Things like neem and spinosad are good used in veg, especially as a preventative, but really depends on what kind of bugs. Kill the bugs now, while you can easily. Once they start flowering, you won't want to be spraying your buds.

thanks for the advise. I’m starting to look into an auto water system. Any recommendations from Amazon.ca? I started with a 240w draw led blurple light, and added a SpiderFarmer SF2000 last week.

I found a gnat on my sticky trap so I’m assuming that’s what it was

Gnats don't usually eat leaves, they feed off fungus in the soil, so keep on the lookout for other bugs. They may be a bit too small to see with the naked eye, so might want to get a magnifying glass.

As far as auto water systems, I'd suggest a simply DIY setup, using a 5-gal bucket as a res for the nutes, and a simple aquarium pump hooked up to a drip feed line. You just need to be sure that you have the correct adapters to connect the drip line to the pump. You could look for a drip kit that connects to a garden hose type connection, and then make sure whatever pump you get has that same adapter, which is pretty common. You'll also want to think about how you plan to deal with the runoff. Most common thing to do is to build a short flood table a foot or two off the floor for the plants to sit on, then make a drain on the table into a bucket. There are many ways to go about it. Do a bit of research online, but make you think everything through a few times before you get too far.

What they said.......and works for my coco.

Gnats.
Mosquito dunks. Crush the donuts and sprinkle powder and chunks over top of pot. Every time you feed some bt is dispensed to kill soil bound. Stickies for flyers.
