Low Humidity 16%-22% DWC 1 plant in Vegg

Should I worry about the low humidity??? My temps are running about 75F... Should I get a small humidifier and set it to about 40%? Should I put the humidifier right into the 4x4 tent or just outside the tent in the 15x30 room with large cellings?

That's pretty low.. If you can, try to put the humidifier inside the tent and see how high it raises the temps.. I know my dehumidifier raises the temps quite a bit not I've never used a humidifier. If it raises the temps too much, just put it directly outside the tent. I like to keep a 40-50% humidity until week 7ish, then I drop it to under 40% if I can.

You'll be fine. I saw 12% at one point earlier this winter in my room and mothers/veggies were fine. Mist them every so often if it makes you feel better...this will also raise RH temporarily. I already had a humidifier and I tried using it and it only went up a couple of points, i.e. negligible. Slow your fan down with speed controller ($25ish) and it will retain humidity. Humidity will only increase as the plant gets bigger and spring is just around the corner. Don't waste your money on a humidifier.

Yep I am consistently at or below 20% this winter. No problems, I am watering in soil more often. Dwc....zero issues.

Yeah, plants will grow in any humidity for sure, all parts of the world have different climate, but for optimal flowers for indoor growing, a higher rh is needed... but if the end results don't matter much, you'll still get some good buds at whatever rh is under 65% and above 10%

Vegg I don't worry at all low high doesn't matter , flower I'll aim for around 45-50 % , but as long as it doesn't go over 60% I don't stress , humidity matters the most during the drying

Veg I dont even bother to measure. Just soray them a few times here and there with foliage nute mix. Flower mine stays below 45% and above 30% untill the last week or so I turn the fan speed up and it comes down a bit more.

Mine didn't do well with that low of an RH. The plants drink more water and take up more nutes than they should. As long as you compensate then your ok. Mine burned badly. Get a cool mist humidifier

Not all plants react like that with low RH. Drinking water and taking up nutes are dervived from a ton of variables. Water temps, and room temps, water ph, and ec, are more of a factor than RH.

If your tent is ventilated as I imagine you pull air from outside it, don't put a humidifier inside! It will be at 100. At least always over 60 and allow mold. Treat the air outside your tent, it'll still def work but to the extent you want it to!
