low on money? ...smoke res!!

Just Wondering, but how many ppl here scrape bowls for resin and make a ball of it to smoke? After every bag I get (usually 1/2-1oz bags) I scrape the resin and make a ball out of it. also, if there is enough, I will make two somewhat smaller balls of res and then put a helping of keif on there that came from that same bag in the grinder.

I am low on cash so I do this and usually can get an extra day or sometimes two without buying more herb. Anybody else stretched enough to do this too?

not stretched enough, but I do have a hidden stash of resin somewhere for a rainy day. but it'll have to be a very rainy day for me to break that out.

getting high off resin is different than getting high off weed
its much more cerebral and doesn't last nearly as long
but yes i do often find myself grinding my bowl to get high
one time friends and i scraped a few grams out of our buddies bowl and the three of us got fucking ripped

actually a old friend of mine broke a glass bowl (that i gave him quite a while back) yesterday. he gave me back the bowl to see it i could fix it and it was beyond repair, so we scraped like 4grams(we weighed it for the hell of it) of resin outta that sucker and its kept me high all day.

I've smoked my fair share of resin not cause I was low on money more so to lazy to get more herb or I scraped a bowl or something and figured hey ill get high. I dont mind it but the greener the better. why not? its just pot residue not like its meth hahaha peace!

actually my little bubbler has to be cleaned like way to quick. Like every 1/4o i smoke through it, it gets a gram of damn resin in the bowl& slide.
Am i the only one who hates the way pipes taste when they have lots of resin in them? I absolutely cannot stand that taste....so i usually clean the thing about every 1/4 or 1/2 ounce which takes me all of 5 minutes nowadays that ive got my cleaning tools. but i usually put it up somewhere to keep for later in case i run outta bud. In the fall I cant find places to keep all the shit since its so hard to store (and I dont run out in the fall till @ least the end of winter or so)

Hate to admit it but my Peace Pipe is loaded with a big ass Res ball right now... At least I'm getting some green in a hour or 2. I Hate it when you smoke all your shit then call your hook up and he tells ya he can't recop till tommorrow. Even worse is when he can't get hook up for like 2 - 3 days.

THATS why i started growing. Although if you run out it does take LOTS longer to reup.

my broke ass spent many a night scraping resin. mostly a few years back, but if the head stash runs out, you can bet i wont hesitate to scrape up the resin(not the greatest lol).

I found this dealer at my school..Selling the BEST MILD buds i've ever found for the price...40 dollar quaters and 20 dolla 8ths.. So i copped from him all semester and ditched the street and other dealers i knew...

When semester was over..re-establishing those connects was a bitch..

I use a fine mesh in my cone-piece. It stops that 'pull-through' effect where you lose some of the weed into the bong (billy over here in Oz). After each cone, I have a special 'ashtray' where I dump the ash. There is usually a very small amount of unburnt weed from the outside edges of the mesh, so if I run out, I can filter the ash through a tea strainer and collect all that unburnt weed. I can usually salvage a dozen or so cones from every half ounce smoked. But, seeing as I rarely have to wait for weed (I have a very consistent supplier), I rarely have to resort to the ash bowl. We did have a time where we had to wait for two days for weed and the ash bowl hadn't been filtered for quite a while. Ended up not having to smoke all of the filtered stuff. There was heaps there.
I used to get quite a bit of resin from my old mull bowl, but the one we have now doesn't seem to collect resin...and I wouldn't scrape my stem for love or money.

Speaking of cleaning, try using Tea Tree oil to clean the shit from your stem and cone-piece. Just make sure you rinse it really well afterwards, else you'll have the taste in it for a few days after.

I've done that about 2 -3 times in my life. You get that HookUp who's always got ya and you blow off the others. Then out of nowhere He quits! FUCK YOU!!!
Then the other dealers are cautious to sell to you again. They don't know where you've been. Who you hang with. For all they know your a snitch with a wire fresh out the cop shop. It gets hard all around for a while when you loose that steady connect.

I do it all the time. In fact, my pipe is clean at the moment because I've scraped it so much in the past week.

Right now there is a serious shortage of good weed in my area. I do get decent prices though, 25 half q and 50q for some hydro. I'm supposed to be getting a quarter tomorrow. My dealer's quarters always weigh at least 7.5 grams. I get those prices because I used to hook my dealer up lol

When my husband and I sold, we would sell a quarter for $40 and a half for $20. In the summer time/fall it's really plentiful around here because lots of people grow.

It works for me, but it get's beat after it goes away in fifteen minutes.
