Low Phosphorus? High heat?

I am pretty sure these plants are short on phosphorus but would like some backup? Some of the stems are turning red and the leaves are curling under. They have had some high heat until I switched night times for them. It now only gets up to 85 during their day. But up until a week ago on hot days it was getting to 100. I thought there was a problem with one strain but now multiple are showing the same problems. I also thought it was rootbinding but after transplanting they are doing no better. I am using cns nuts and have added a little beastie blooms to bump up phos levels. I have not added much fert though because of a fear of burning after starting plants in a fertilized soil. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

it is hard to recover from heat stress it takes time, just feed them ph,d water with normal feeding from the recommended dose by the manufacturer.also they need to recover from transplant, that a fair bit of shock.

Hey, I jusst wanted to add something for ya to think about,
Yea phosp will help reg plant temp since they look heat stress but they are under stress and it takes some time!! Also even a more major point to consider, your plants will consume more water than feed when they are placed under any heat stress.. I feed feed water, but when it gets hot out, I feed and water with a few cups more than i would use when i feed.
Maybe adding to much phosp will only create more of an issue.. I would try watering lighter and more often, same thing with feed. Good luck! I doubt its a lack of phosp..

ph is 6.5 also I do small waterings daily this leaf thing was going on before the transplant. That is why I thought it was rootbinding

I see. It would not be root bound as you can probably tell by now... I would say, do not water everyday, in fact, let your medium dry out (ideal almost to the point were the soil ALMOST pulls from the walls of your pot) Remember the plant needs more than moister in the soil..... Some will say moister will keep your root hairs alive, but they are simple minded and should go fuck themselves!. Don't let your plants draw moister during a light cycle!!! Hence why u probably water every day..
I water every second day and each Two gallon pot HOLDS 1 L of water and the plants drink that in one and 1/2 days.. My grow room temp is at 25 so I know they are not kicked into overdrive to help regulate plant temp! My grow room is pretty fine tuned with this batch of plants.
If I were u, I would water with VitaMAx at 50ML per 5gallon bucket, or 10ML per Gallon.. Do this with some de-chlorinated water.. Your plants should start to look better in a few days, if it is anything to do with your feed..
If it is heat, u know what to do!
Your pH is fine, as long as, u know that your soil is accually at 6.5... It most prob will not be. but let some seep in a cup and test it after 24hrs... I water at 6.4.. I do this from beg to end.. Well maybe i let it drift to 6.3 but i am pretty picky!!

Thanks for the advice. I will give the vitamax and hope that helps. They are still budding and growing fast so they have not gotten too stressed. I do have most everything else under control. Temps are good 80-85 in the day and 75 at night. ph meter is crude I use two types for the soil neither are high tech though. I also ph the water and it is 6-6.5. It is from a well so there is no chlorine but I do still let it sit for a few days before using it.
Do you grow the whole life in two gallon pots? I have switched to five on most of my plants and it is taking up alot of room? Just wondering if I can get away with two? Thanks again. This is my first grow so I am learning.

Hey,
Awesome questions.. I have grown in all sizes and I have dedicated a 1000watt HPS to a garden of 1Gallon pots-just to see.. To really answer this question thoroughly you need to consider these few points..
I look at growing in two gallon pots as a small and convenient-and it holds enough water. I have noticed with 1gallons-holds to little water (obviously) and three gallons hold the ideal amount, but cost $$$ this much more on soil and uses that much more on water. And it also takes that much more on space.
See it works well for me because I use the two gallon pot just to hold my *soilless* medium- thats the key reason why I am using two gallons. I have greater control over my feed program because my plants are entirerly dependable on my hydroponic feed. (search out a high qualility hydro nuts because they would usualy come in plant avialable forum).
It is a big diff if you want to grow in *soil* also known as organic growing or compost growing. Although cheap to do but not convieneant for Urban gardenours. Going this way u need to make sure u really should use organic fret mixs and use MIN 5 gallon buckets or grow bags and once a week brew a compost tea..
Now for me, I like to go two gallon pots, enough to hold water retention, enough to hold decent size root balls, I have control over my feed program, it allows me to feed lighter and feed more often.

Now the big thing to consider is this:
When u use well water, u should really try finding a Micro Grow bloom that is designed for those with wells... Another thing to consider is, when u have a disspropotionate balance of macro to mirco nuts very soon in time, you will find your plants suffering from something and not able to ever understand why.. For example.. Your well may be over supplying some micro (trace elements) and with high does of P or K u can be creating an inbalance, esspeccialy during the frist few weeks of flowering..

Food for thought: New research just found that large does of phosphours hinders bud developement and you should increase your (N) and (K)-potassiam during flower, well reducing P-phosourous. Now I was like, what the fuck!! get those P K numbers up their!!! But After reading the whole atrical and all the explantions to qualify their logic- maybe these guys are right!!!!!!!!!! Esspcially since this was tested on marijuwana and marijuwana being a more leafy plant than cucumbers and egg plant lol.

BTW.. Of my Two gallon pots, I have recent yeilds of 3Oz per plant.. That is with 2weeks veg under Flourecents and 2 weeks under Two 1000Watts HPS.. Remeber these are my veg buldbs. I also use 600Watts HPS in my garden with bulbs that have built in reflectors and they are ALMOST as good as the 1000Watts..-BUt still a mesurable differeance by the Eye..

If u have any more questions. Just keep asking. I find it good to try and help out.. I usually dont focus my time over the net. But i will keep peeking back so see whats up. Good luck...
