Low-tech CO2 enhancement methods -- are they worth it?

Everything I read says lo-tech CO2 enhancement is not worth it if you're venting your grow space. But I'm wondering if it's worth it for those of us who can't vent our grow space (like, growing in an unventilated closet). Can we turn that into an advantage with CO2 supplementation?

By low-tech methods of CO2 enhancement i mean such methods as rigging a vinegar drip into a bowl of baking soda (or even just mixing a tablespoon of vinegar into a mess of baking soda and setting it in the closet before you close the door)...

Anyone have any experience with low-tech methods? Are they worth it?

I have an unventilated space and everything grows fine. I just keep temp and humidity good. I move air with a fan but use ExHale bags to supplement my room. I've had growers swear by it.

Another way to make a CO2 producer is to add 6 cups water, 1 tablespoon dry yeast, and 1/3 cup of sugar to a 2 liter bottle and then mix it up and then as a biproduct from the sugar and yeast reacting, you'll get CO2. Good luck with your grow.
