Low Temps 70?

I have low daytime temps, usually between 70 and 72. Sometimes dropping to 68 at lights out. Will I get an improved growth rate if I up the daytime temps to 75-77?

Your beginning to really start to loose over 85 (the plant is putting more "energy" into cooling it's self, then to grow, unless you use Co2......At 90F the plant begins to actually "hibernate" by focusing on keeping it's self cool enough.

Should work well for your size.
You're at 80,,,not bad.....You can do it if you want too,,,,,If you're not going over 80F, you don't "have" too.

I can get temps up to 79 by turning on two monster CFL's I have. I think I read somewhere 77 is the magic temperature.

I try to mimic nature the best I can so during veg I try to keep my temps between 80-85 day and 75 night and during flower I drop my temperatures to 72-77 day and 65-68 night and notice frostier and better looking buds.

As long as the roots are getting wet and dry or plenty of O2 in her soup, you can have your grow in the low eighties. I have a small oscillating fan moving my girls around though. The sativas grow better in warmth, than the indicas IME. Treat her roots nice and keep her leaves moving and you'll be fine.
