Low yields, need some help.

So i have a 400w Hps for flowering and i flower at least 5 plants in this light with a 3x3x5 growroom.
My yield per plant is just 15 grams, i had one Bubblelicious from Nirvana Seeds with 30gr dry in the final but thats it.
I just want to learn how to get 2 ounces per plant or something like that...
I veg for about 1 and a half month,i top every girl to achieve more tops,my temps are 82F,i use All Mix soil by biobizz, with organic nutrients like Bio Bloom, Bio Grow,Top Max,Bio Heaven...
I put my plants in flower when they have 12 inches-15 inches.
I got a fan circulating the air inside the growroom and a 107 m3/h intake and outake 190 m3/h.
400w hps with an adjust a wings reflector.

I top ( sometimes several times)and supercrop as needed. Same tent type but taller and a 600 hps and uvb. Edit: General Onganic nute line. I like indica as they don't get as tall/lanky and plump up well. I run strains that I know do better. Amsterdam indica is one and a home strain. Some strains don't give big buds like Dutch Treat. (my strain anyway) One common issue is patience. The 2 weeks extra help as long as the trich % isn't changing radically. The indica goes from nugs to big nugs in that time. I do use kelp. Keep my temps below 82. 5 gallon "dirt bags". 5 bags at a time in an x. I veg 2 months waiting for flowering swap.

I agree with a mongo frog. I have a similar setup and my last grow was 4 plants in 3 gal smart pots and the yield sucked.Someone told me it was due to over watering. Never had that problem when I was growing in my bathtub with CFL'S . Now I'm growing 3 autoflowersin 5 gallon Smart pots.

my limited experience, and this is with cfl/micro type of grows
genetics are a very big deal in yield, i get about 1/3 gram/watt for good breeder type genetics
have been growing my own seed for the last 1 1/2 years, those give me about half that yield, they lack the hybrid vigor of some nicer genetics

It's your Nutrients bro. I tried that Bio line too. Following there feeding schedule I yielded a ounce less than Fox Farm. Look at your NPK of the Bio nutrients. There not that high. They don't have alot of get up and go. If you still want to go all organic. Add sum dried blood or blood meal for veg. and triple phosphate for in the flower. There cheap and last a long time. You don't need alot of either.

They are a little low in NPK i know...
Maybe i will try that, that seems a good idea! Thank you ;-)

so you're saying you veg for 1.5 months and they're only 15 inches by the time you're ready to flower? that doesn't make sense

I only use standard Miracle Grow or Jacks, (right now It's MG) and I pull 2 to 4 ounces off 10-12 inch plants myself.

It aint nutes.

(not that there is not good value in proper nutes)

Harvesting early is a common error.
You can gain a lot of weight in the final two weeks.

theres a lt of goo info and havent read it all but HANDS DOWN!!!! if you want bigged yield get more lights, go hydro, veg with at least a 400 mh, 6 weeks, flower with 600hps, hydro will give ou quite a bigger yield if you manage it well, but the key is NOT the amount of plants to the light, its the amount of light to each plant, the more light the bigger the buds!!!!!!

I use a 400w hps.

I grow in coco and use the following.

CANNA AQUA VEGA 6-3-8 NPK
CANNA RHIZOTONIC
CANNA MONO CALCIUM
CANNA MONO MAGNESIUM
CANNA PK1314
GROWTH TECHNOLOGY LIQUID SILICON

I grow 4x2ft plants and harvest around 4oz per plant.

If I use clones they get around 2-3weeks veg time, topped.

My plants are ALWAYS green at harvest time.

Yellow plants or burnt leaves etc slows down growth.

I use 11L pots.


Work on keeping your plants healthy with a finishing height around 2ft tall and yields will follow.
