lower buds finishing faster?

Okay I just noticed all the lower buds that get less light are almost all receded hairs but are no where near as dense as up top. The top buds are all still white and pink spike pistils. I thought the buds with more sun are supposed to finish faster

Even if the buds are all nice and green still and the plant is close to harvest as it is? The whole plant is starting to get brown pistils but the lower buds are going quicker

Yes it could be mites! Broad mites .. russet mites ..Clay I forget what they are called but they are also microscopic mites.

Holy Toledo! I just checked google for mites and saw an ugly picture. How do I annihilate them in early flower?

When I Google marijuana mite damage, all the plants have damaged leaves as well. My leaves are all in real good condition and we have wasps all over that are always in the plants. I don't think it's mites

I have a pheno of my seahash that the bottom buds are just about ripe with amber trichome covered buds and the tops are still ripening. I would check it out under a scope anyways though. A.S.A.P.

I have a plant that is kind of doing the same, but I have a few brown hairs on the lower buds, but all the buds at the same stage. none are riper than the other, just a few half brown and white hairs here and there. Ill check in the morning for mites.

I have the same thing happening right now. Every since the plants went out doors I have treated them every 3 days with the max strength dose of azamax. This is my process every year and when the buds really start to frost up I ease up on the sprays and by about sep 7 I stop spraying, there have been a couple years where I start to see some mites but by this time of year we have usually seen some cooler nights here in Nor Cal so their reproduction rate is not very fast, it is a couple lower branches that didn't really matter no sweat. This year however the mites are not regular spider instead the russet/broad mites and we have yet to cool off not to mention a lot of nor cal growers are myself included are about to weeks later than most years flowering. So that being said I have dealt with russet mites indoors before and I have scoped my plants at 60x in multiple areas and a couple of the really small light deprived buds with all red hairs look just like my russet damage indoors but I can not find a single russet with my scope the majority of my buds with red hairs are on my plants that started first look perfectly healthy and it is only the very bottom branches my experience indoors leaf damage came very quickly and I have seen none so far, also the damage normally starts on top at the new growth and moves down as pictured below. So I am going to give it the occasional azamax and hope for cold temps.

So strip off the damaged bud. Luckily mine is still on the bottom 1/5th. Would it be wise to rub neem on the stalk leading up to the buds or would the mites still find their way up?

Well guys, I picked up a 60 100x scope and see no mites at all. Like I said I have no leaf damage or any other damage. The lower buds just seem a but quicker to ripen. What other cause could this be?
