Lower fan leaves falling off

I have two plants in a 60x60cm cabinet with 90W of LED (4:1, red:blue), but some of the larger lower fan leaves are starting to simply fall off.
They are 9 weeks today, with 2 weeks and 4 days in flower.

Leaves seems to be completely healthy and so does the rest of the plant, so my first guess would be too little light.

What do you guys think?

Well, I don't know. I've never tried LED. OTH, you have a nice cola forming, so what's to worry?

I can see the fan leaves get used up, dried out and then I pull them, toward the end of bloom. But, I have never seen a healthy leave just fall off.

You can run a test and see if you can rule our Light Level as the problem.

Thanks mate. How do I run a test of the light level?

has there ever been ph problems? especially low ph problems?
I haven't tested the ph, ever. I grow them in plain soil and I water them with water with standard flower fertilizer - to see if it can be done "low tech".

I think it might have been a problem with too much water. I watered them a fair amount some days ago, because I had to go away for a few days.

as above said, run a quick test. just on the of chance, pic 1, youve got like a silver edge to youre leaf, can you check to see if there is one or its some light/reflection in the image ect

agree, and as long as its the lower leaves that fall off you shouldn't worry to much, normal for a flowering plant to loose the lower leaves as it don't use em anymore, tho normally it will sug the goodis out of em (make em yellow) before it loose em unless they don't receive much/any light, but as long as it is`t the top/new growth you should be ok

A plant will self prune at times if the leaf isn't getting enough light to support the rest of the plant or itself, sometimes the plant will jettison them. Completely normal. You should think about some supplemental light a little lower for your plants bro. You'd probably see results really fast from adding a couple. Peace out.

do they get any light ?
The real wattage of my homemade setup is 72W on the LEDs - so I'm fairly certain now that, that's the cause.

How do I run a quick test? I'm not sure what's involved in doing such test. The leaf is a lovely green, the silver edge is caused by my phone.

Thanks for the advice! I will definitely do that. My next grow will include a 220W homemade LED lamp (Red/blue in the ratio 4:1) - I will add some warm white bulbs to that, to get a broader spectrum.
