Lower fan leaves turning yellow

Hey RIU,

I think I've got a nitrogen deficiency.

All of my plants seem to be doing the same...yellowing the lower fan leaves till they die off. I've been using Technaflora's 'Recipe for Success' veg stage concoction as per the instructions. The plants are in a 50/50 mix of FF Happy Frog and FF Ocean Forest. They're a month old now, and a few days away from going 12/12. New growth looks great on all of them.

Just fed them good yesterday, full stregnth "recipe". So far no burn.

I filter the water with a Britta filter and test the water using the aquarium type test solution and its always good, around 6.5 or so ph. Haven't tested the run-off lately.

I did give them all a little shot of Azamax, about 2 ounces of solution each into the soil, after feeding them.
I found this little fucker flying around my grow room about 5 days ago.

It flew right past my face...but it didn't get away. Tiny little bitch. My best guess it's a root gnat, hense the Azamax.
Looks like it was trying to find a place to deposit it's eggs. I took care of that for it.

I also have something going on with this runt here. It's been a very slow grower, almost 4 weeks old but barely 5 inches tall. It, and another one (random bagseed) are about 10 days younger than the rest of my brood, which are all sativa/indica bagseed mix. I used a sativa dominant male to breed all of the females' lower buds before culling the males in my last (first) grow.

The runt is in straight FF Ocean forest soil, which seems to not drain very well. My guess is that it hasn't been getting much oxygen or it's roots are bound up. I don't care if I lose this one, but as long as it's growing I'll keep it around, until it shows sex that is.

I notice that when they are getting root bound? Other than that I couldn't see anything that raised a flag. Also doubt that bug has anything to do with it. Also can't see your pics, only the one of the bug

strange, somehow the pics didn't get uploaded...hopefully they're uploaded now

as for being root bound, they are. but once they show sex they'll be transplanted into larger pots.

Is the soil real wet? Had that with bad roots from drowning..in my overwatering past.

keep it real.

I think you need to flush with phed water and then start a light feeding again. I think you have a ph issue caused from nutes, it looks like a lockout with burns either from nute burn or salt burn, easy enought flush with proper ph let dry and start a light feeding less is more. Also don't add more to fix a problem most of the time you can fix a problem by taking away.
