Lowering humidity in 2x2 tent without dehumidifier, damprids?

Hello, do 4-5 18oz damprids work to lower the humidity by 10/20% in a 2x2x5 tent?

Not sure about damp rids.

Exhaust works well. If you have lower temps you can increase them a bit to drop RH.

Find your current RH line and note its Y intersect at your current temperature. Then drag horizontally until you intersect with the next RH line.



If you had 30% RH @ 70F (black dots)...
then if you raised ambient to 85F the RH would drop to 20%.

If you had 60% RH @ 78F (red dots)...
then if you raised ambient to 84F the RH would drop to 50%

This holds true as long as the amount of water in the air is constant. Good luck

I've had rainy days lately and humidity went up to 70-75%, usually humidity is around 50-60% though

You are probably going to need to purchase a room sized dehumidifier and put that in the room where the intake air to the closet comes from to get it down.

Where are you in the growth cycle? LED or HID lights? Look up a vapor pressure deficit chart for you growth stage. If your under LED without IR diodes you probably can raise the temps a bit to get in the sweet zone on the VPD chart. Depending on the growth stage. If your late in flowering that probably won’t work.
