Hello everyone! I will soon be running a 206w CFL setup in an armoire cab, and I was wondering if anyone had any idea on how to lower my temperatures! In my closet, with only four CFLs and a 6" oscillating fan, temperatures got as high as 104°F. I'm worried that with eight CFLs the temperatures will be ridiculous. I'll have two 2" passive intake 90° PVC bends, and one 120mm PC fan for exhaust, also hooked up to a 90° PVC bend. In addition to that, I'll have the small 6" oscillating fan circulating air within the cab.
The CFLs consist of four 6500k Daylight CFLs and four 2700k Soft White CFLs. They will be ran 20/4 from seed to harvest, always within around 3-4" of plant tops. CFLs are screwed into twin socket adaptors which are in turn screwed into socket to plug adaptors. Perhaps if I just turn the oscillation off and point the 6" floor fan at the bulbs, and angle it upward so it blows the hot air coming off the bulbs toward the exhaust it will work.
Anyways, thoughts, opinions, etc.
Thanks,
