lowrider 2 lighting help

Hi guys . This is my 2 grow . First one was not to good . But I have got 3 plants just planted them today . It's lowrider 2 . And I don't know about thw light . I heard that 24 /0 . Is the best but don't really no ? . I have read about it and there r a few diffrent cycles they can grow . What is the best and r they any other tips on growing autoflowers ? Any help much appreciative thanks

no the plant needs rest, its suggested you do 20/4 or 18/6

i would go 18/6 mate but i have only just started doing autos, wont bother again , day 2 of week six they both started to flower... fuck that i would rather veg for a month and they will be finished quicker and bigger.under a 600w hps.

Yep plants need a dark cycle, alot of your root growth takes place during that time actually as the plant shifts its energy from photosynthesis to growth. As Nusky suggested 20/4 or 18/6.. I grew a couple different strains from them including yours and diesel ryder and actually grew them at a 12/12 cycle because they was in the flower room with non-autoflowers and they turned out really well.

EDIT: As Welsh said though the autoflowers are kinda pointless, I've had non-auto's that I ran 12/12 straight from seed that got done just as fast and yielded more.

first of all, new growers should not grow autoflowers. since once you fuck up, you dont get a second chance to veg them back to health. for lighting, 24/7 is best for autoflowers. more light= more foliage= bigger bud

if its a 60day auto, i'd use MH for the first 15 days till pistils, then switch to HPS

lowlife says to grow them 20/4. I grew mine 24/0 and only got 7 grams

I do not agree, while more light will initially give you possibly faster and more vegetative growth not having a dark cycle will negatively impact the grow especially if you are using a decent sized pot/container to grow in as Cannabis needs a dark cycle to promote root growth, bigger and healthier root system will give you better yields.

I grew mine 12/12 in 12 inch pots and got good pop can sized main colas. (cant recall the exact weight)

august 8th we put ours in and i think there is still about 5/6 weeks easy left, but doing better than i expected.
