lowrider hydro

ive got a lowrider #2 seed in my hydro set-up with 6 CFL light bulbs. although its been about 2 weeks since i planted it, i havent given them any nutrients yet because it has been growing so slowly.
ill try to get some pics up soon, but there are only 4 leaves on my 2-inch tall plant. anyone know why its growing so slow? my last grow, the plant was 10x bigger at this point and it wasnt a lowrider.

my light is set on 20-on 4-off and it stays about 80-85 degrees in my grow box.
any help would be great.

Hey, you can give the 2 week olds some nutes now or the leaves are going to turn yellow on you from N def. Only about 1/4 strength though, they wont need much. I have a bunch of LR hybrids from a mix going right now too from about the same time ago. They seemed to stop after about that long to put down some serious roots, they have to do that to grow and mature as fast as they do. What type of nutes are you using? Be sure to watch the Ph after changing the res. It goes up sometimes and I use GH nutes.

Never saw this thread. I actually have LR2 going in hydro right now and am doing a journal. its also under t5 flouros. Kinda similar grow. Mine are growing fast. I have lightly given them nutes since they first popped their shells. They sprouted on the 17 and are growing amazing. Give them some light nutes and theyll take off. Also make sure that you have plenty of oxygen in the water. Mine are only that old and the roots are showing through like crazy. Good luck man!!!

i have fox farm nutrients. its now about 3 weeks in and still like a inch tall but looks healthy. so your saying go ahead and throw in nutrients? how much?

ok i put some fox farm grow big nutrients in my hydro setup and within a week the plant went from not growing to tripling in size. it now has already a bunch of hairs on it and its only about 3 inches tall but a lot of stems. ill post pictures when i can.

good man. they can handle nutes from the beginning. you just gotta start mild. good man
