Lowryder #1 CLF PC Grow

Hi guys, the two girls are 30 days old today (+-27 from germination), half way trough 
Lowryder:
A bit taller than expected, it's now 29cm tall, it was yesterday 27cm tall, I hope it doesn't grow taller coz I'm running out of space.
The branching is amazing and she's starting to grow some nice buds already
Deimos:
The deimos is a bit smaller than expected hehe, even smaller than the lowryder, I'm starting to think that it has got some problem, but the leaves look nice and healthy.
It's now 18 cm tall with a good branching as the lowryder and a little bit behind with the flowers, starting to get pistils everywhere so will start forming buds real soon overall status is good.
And here is the new lowryder:
she is looking good apart from the fact that is growing leaves with the wrong number of fingers. Lets just hope is a girl, fingers crossed.

nice looking lowryder you got there a bit different than mine, just one more prof the lowryder is not as stable as the breeder says!!!hoo and good luck with the new baby
the deimos is looking nice and healthy too i would guess that she may need a bigger pot to grow taller, as you may know some strains need space for the roots to develop if they dont have the room they keep them selfs really short which in our case isn't so bad due to space limitations

Thanks David what differences did you find between your and mine ?
You may be right about the deimos, different plants respond in a different way to the same conditions. We'll see what happens in the next week or two though, some plants start stretching later than others Anyway, I hope she doesn't grow much taller, her size is probably better for this box xDD

I haven't measured mine yet but id say my taller one is half the size of yours, lower branches are far more stretched than mine and the leafs are longer!
But your is bigger because you have a deeper pot mine is wide but short!

Well, let me know the size of your plants if you have a chance. I measure mine today again and they grew another two centimeters so both are growing 2cm a day right now.I removed the white light and I'll measure them tomorrow to see if there is a difference. Are you using your 200W red bulb ?

Good news guys!!
After stressing the male a bit too much, he seems recovered now and today one of the balls opened. I was able to spot it, catch some pollen and pollinate one of the branches of the lowryder#1 female. There will probably be more balls opening tomorrow and I expect to catch some more pollen to pollinate a branch from the deimos and keep some pollen for possible future use

I also have another male (lowryder#1) with couple of different traits that I will use to pollinate a different branch of the female lowryder.

Hey lince mgot the heights for you my smaller one has 14.5cm and the other 18.5cm, ya 200w i tried to add 2 24w bubls in there but they put my temps on the 34cº!
mine don't grow not even close to that rate
i wish i could say the same about the pollen

Thanks for the info yes, the difference with my lowryder is quite big, I think the volume of the pots may have something to do as well, as mine are almost double size (4L).
What happened with your male ? you also wanted to make some seeds right ? I'm so looking forward to the seeds, really curious about how the plants will be, and it will also be cool if I can cross lowryder and deimos hehe
Actually I tried to look on the internet for some information about what would you get crossing lowryder#1 seeds but althought I was able to find a couple of people who made seeds, didn't get any information about how those seeds grew.

My male is actually the one I had in the pc box so he is a bit older than the other plants, is 42 days old today. But I also had the problems of stress and I cut all the branches so not sure when a "normal" male should open the balls, I would say around day 35 though.
The Deimos is an auto-flowering strain as well
but quite different to lowryder#1.

They are still growing at a big rate, 2-3 cm a day so the lowryder#1 is 37cm and the deimos is 28cm. I have topped the deimos to see if I can avoid her being too tall.
The deimos is definitely meant to be a big plant with a big space, even being 10cm shorter than the lowryder#1 it takes up more space. Also the Deimos is growing slower than the lowryder, not only the size but also the flowers, she has got very little pistils yet.
The pistils I pollinated on the lowryder#1 look a little bit more droppy than the rest but there are still no brown pistils, I hope they get brown soon so I can be sure that I did a good job pollinating her

I'm crossing lowryder#1 male with lowryder#1 female and I want to see if as a result I get seed with the same traits of a lowryder#1 like auto-flowering, size, trichs, weeks until harvest, branching etc
Anyway, the girl I'm growing doesn't really meet some of the traits of a lowryder#1 so if the strain is not stable enough to give me a lady which those traits, I wonder how the seeds will be.... surprise surprise lol

It's quite cool the breeding stuff. You get free seeds made by yourself which makes it more valuable and you get nice plants out of it. I was reading about it for the last couple of weeks and there are many things to learn about crossing and genetics and stuff but you can get some nice results with the very basics
Just pollinated the deimos with the lowryder#1 male today. The deimos hasn't got many pistils yet but didn't want to wait much longer, I guess I'll get 5-10 seeds from her, that'd be fine
will def. get more from the lowryder#1 female.
