Well well well  it seems that the time for me to grow lowryder has finally come after many weeks of waiting while fixing the box and stuff. I'm really happy about it and looking forward to this entire grow.

So lets see what do I have for this grow:

Seeds: Lowryder #1 regular
Box: 42 width x 42 height x 20 deep (is a small one)
Light: 2x23W 6500k + 2x23W 2700k CLF = 92W
Soil: Biobizz All-Mix
Pot: 3L (this time I'm going with something bigger, I was growing in 1.5L pots before.)
Nutes: Biobizz BioGrow and Biobizz BioBloom
Light Schedule: I'm thinking about going 18/6 for the entire grow.

So today is day 1 as I already put the seed in a jiffy pellet and I'm hopping she'll pop out in 3-4 days. In the mind time I have to finish adding the intake fan and make some kind of light-trap.

Sounds good skefaman, I've got a Deimos that I was thinking of growing in march but I'm not really sure about it as the days are still quite short here, around 11.5h of light. May start the deimos and a couple of lowryder at the end of march anyway and see how they do :)

Thanks for stopping by Teyo. I hope you enjoy the ride and learn something on the way ;)

The strain is an autoflowering stain, will probably grow it 18/6 it's whole life and should be ready to harvest in 8 weeks, it's a short plant and comes from william's wonder + northern lights no2 + mexican ruderalis.

Don't hesitate to ask if you (or anybody) has any questions about the grow, I will gladly answer them.

So, I was getting some stuff done today. Intake fan is in place in it's light-trap and after checking the temperature and humidity everything seems to be fine, humidity doesn't go over 45% and temps are between 18-27ºC (64-80ºF).

Still no signs of the lowryder in the second day. Hopefully it will germinate before Saturday :)

I don't know about williams wonder but NL has got good genetics :) and is meant to perform real good indoor. About Durban poison I was impress with her, grew amazingly fast both the plant (with almost no branches/leaves) and the buds and those were compact and real nice. I got some seeds out of her that I grew but the plant wasn't the same although the smoke was still good.

Very nice set of plants you have growing Teyo, looks like you are doing a good job with them ;) I'm subd to your thread.

BTW, is day 3 and still no signs of the lowryder, sure it will germinate tomorrow :) I'll take some pics as soon as I can see it.

Hi there, couldn't make an update yesterday but here is the plant, it opened the cotyledons yesterday :)

I already transplanted it to the final 3L tapper-pot and I'll have to change one of the 6500k bulbs because it doesn't seem to switch on, which is weird coz they are suppose to work for 5 years.

Anyway, here's a picture of my first beautiful lowryder :D

Day 7

Keeps growing a little bit every day :) You can clearly see the difference from the last picture.

I added a 22W bulb today instead of the 23W bulb that broke, it's not great because the lumen difference is quite big but I guess it's better than nothing :)

Everything is looking great so far bro. I was wondering though how you went about germinating your seeds. I used the germination kit from Nirvana but I don't think that is the way I am going to do it next time. Even though I do have 8 more pods left from the germination kit because I cut the extra's off. It's great that we are almost along the same time-line =D

hey buddy! yes still a long way to go but so far everything looks good :)

I use to germinate directly in soil (still do sometimes) but now I do it mainly in jiffy pellets. It's easy and it works great, with the paper-towel method is easier to screw it up. I would recommend you to keep using the germination kit you've got, as you could see with those first two seeds it works great and 4-5 days to germinate is perfect timing ;)

Thanks Derple :) There are many things/tips to keep in mind. You could check my reference guide in my signature, it's full of information that I put together in the past few months and you can check the section you are interested in ;) I check information on it all the time, it's really useful.
