If you have a green light(one of those green cfl party lights) it would be safe to look at her with that. MJ plants can't see green light like we can so it doesn't disturb them at all.Yeah man I'm tearing up I haven't missed a full day of her life till now lol...sorry lucy.
And...she gets chopped tomorrow or next day which she probably doesn't feel happy about lmao.
Yeah man i didn't really know that either. Like i said, something knew every day..What will i learn tomorrow? hahaIf you have a green light(one of those green cfl party lights) it would be safe to look at her with that. MJ plants can't see green light like we can so it doesn't disturb them at all.
I believe that the curing is to allow the THC to become psychoactive. From what I've read the potancy isn't 100% when you harvest and allowing it to dry slowly in jars allows that THC to basicly cure out and give you the full potancy the strain has to offer...actually you are correct, I was not specific enough with my statement. Its kinda like harvesting at different times brings different effects, curing probably allows more of the THC to change to other cannabinoids( however you spell that) giving a heavier stoney high compared to fresh non cured weed. So what I meant is that curing does not increase concentrations of cannabinoids but it can alter the ratios
not really, the majority of THC becomes psychoactive from heat through a process known as decarboxylation(spelled wrong, im lazy). As long as the temp gets over 175 degrees or something like that the THC becomes active. This is the reason one must cook cannabis before it can be eaten. Eat a cured nug and see if you even get half a head change. Curing is mostly for smoothness and taste, it pretty much just evenly distributes the moisture levels throughout the nug so it burns nice and even. Im sure other people here know what im talkin about, back me up guys. and like I said before, curing might be able to effect the high somewhat but it is not because it activates THC or increases amounts.I believe that the curing is to allow the THC to become psychoactive. kinda confused with that statement, who's the brick top?
follow the link, he explains about the curing and how it affects the thc and its psychoactive state... and brick top is a very knowledgeable user here at RIU..kinda confused with that statement, who's the brick top?
ah didnt even notice it was a link before. Ill take a look later, im uber tired right now, runnin on like 1.5 hours of sleep. Earlier today I read that time also plays a role in decarboxylation but it is minor and takes a while, so curing would slightly increase decarboxylation but that is just because it takes a long time to cure properly. Anyway, I doubt it makes a difference because when you burn the weed it decarboxylates anyway. Just a few weeks ago my buddy harvested some green crack and only dried for 4 days, no cure. They were popcorn nuggets so they dried kinda fast. Anyway it got us high as a kite. After I check out that link tomorrow I'll post a reply with some thoughts about it.follow the link, he explains about the curing and how it affects the thc and its psychoactive state... and brick top is a very knowledgeable user here at RIU..
Yeah dude i will learn a bunch of things i think lol..gotta figure out a way to tie the stem to the thinggy so it will hang though. I won't forget pictures....If one thing anyone knows about me by the end of this thread...i love taking pictures of my girlyou will learn a LOT tomorrow lol. man, nothing like the first harvest. good luck bro, and good job resisting the peak! be sure to get some before and after pics (i'm sure you will lol).
