Lowryder #2 almost ready for harvest.

Personally I'd keep that going for a little longer imho. And when you say 50% have turned amber, how are you checking your triches?

i dont think im entirely sure what to look at exactly to know when it is ready to cut. i understand the whole amber thing . i look at the plant and it looks like half the hairs are still milky white and half are amberish?

Quick lesson.
I made that mistake bro.
Hairs and triches are different. See the white icing on the leaves (type of thing) if you get hold of Jewelers Loupe you can see the triches.
Hairs are the bigish white hairs which eventualler turn red/amber. With a jewelers loupe, you'll be able to see the actual trichomes, when they become amber, chop time usually. Hope this helped bro.

ahhhhh ok i get that now ive been looking at the hairs, so pretty much the crystal on the leaves and bud is the actual triches i should be lookin at...now i understand why i need microscope. can u only tell with microscope?but yea def help bro thnx dude!

Microscopes do help, because of the size of them and the way they're a slightly liquid like. But I'd honestly give another 2-3 weeks i'd say. Post more pictures in a weeks time and see how she's doing :)

yea ok will do! i heard cfl's take a bit longer to i heard of lowryders going 75days and im at day 67 right now. plus im using the smallest cfl's pretty much.
im just so anxious cuz its my first grow and i just want to try this bud out...you think its to early to do a test bud???

Don't bother mate. At least wait a week or some more. Honestly, you've come all this way now, might aswell just wait for it to be done! xD

I say give her two more. I grew lowryder and diesel ryder. The way these auto's can be will surprise you; just when you think it's chop time, give em a week and they'll pack on the pounds like kirstie alley in a doughnut shop.
