Lowryder 2 autoflowering female, soil and bucket choice?

Im not so sure on how to go about doing this, this will be my first plant that i have ever grown and for my first plant i have chosen to grow marijuana. (gee i wonder why?) anyways, if i was to get plastic container that could fit about 3 gallons, how many plants can i put in here? (autoflowering lowryder 2).
what tweaks should i make to the box? holes?
Please anyone who knows or experts as well, please help!
