lowryder 2 under 540watts t5 hydro

reminds me of my beginning. The lowryders that is. did you steal my pic? lol. the others are getting fat. knew they would. if you havnt figured out the misters post some pics. we can figure it out for sure. cant wait to see it set up. let us know. looks like this. only yours will grow faster. good luck

Thats what Im sayin!!! This thing is a bat, Im definately going to get more than an ounce off of it. The bud is going to be really dense too, the early harvest didnt get dryed to well, I dried it to quick, and I guess its ok though (smells like hay man). But the buds you can tell were really underdeveloped (fluffy), still some ok smoke though, its currently curing in a glass jar!!!
 
honestly the most important thing is to fry slowly. i realised that the ahrd way when i basically ruined that 14 ounces i told you about by placing in front of the air conditioner. take your time with this 1. she is a lady.
 
Yeah Im going to hang for a week, using no forced air (fan). Then cure untill I run out of my current harvest, the big center cola is going to stay curing for a couple weeks at least!!!
 
Not sure how this is going to work because there is no drip from the top of the pots, but we'll see. I think I've got it working properly. I thought I saw some coco coir in the box too, maybe dreaming or too high lol. This time, I want to grow buds like yours and amcs, very nice growing guys. damn. you went pro overnight!!. thats a very nice setup. if i were you i would prob keep the 2 each per pot. that thing could grow some nice size trees. I might get 1 of those if i can find a 2x4 foot 1. glad you got it hooked up. coco is great for growing. personally i would stick to rockwool though. The most important thing i noticed about the lowryders and prob all autos is that the bigger you can get them before they start to flower the bigger your yield will be. the first 2 weeks are the most important. If you can get them under the 150 right now i would. you have 2-3 weeks before vcertical growth and side growth stop from seed. cant wait to see them grow. very nice setup. keep us updated for sure. theyll grow fast. good luck. and start them on nutes right away mixed at about 15 % strength. it makes all the diff. dont believe anyone who says they need just straight water at first
 
is that pipe on the side for telling the water level or for draining? it seems to tell the water level. pretty good idea. as long as your cubes are getting misted by the misters underneath you should be ok. just cant tell by the pics. might get 1 like that now whether they have my size or not. looks clean
 
Yes, the pipe on the side is for water level. I'm not sure if the mist will keep the roots wet enough, we'll see. What I'm worried about is when I go away for a weekend or so. I don't have anyone to check in on them. Oh well, it won't be for awhile, around 4/9 or so. How would it work with the two in one pot, wouldn't they get crowded. I do have rock wool to put them in. I think I may have room in the grow tent under the hps with the bag seed plants. You don't think they will stretch? Maybe I can add some cfls to the sides. Well, you got me thinking of rearranging things, thanks for the suggestions.
 
A 150 hps will stretch less than white 6500k cfls any day. all the light you can get. when you go away all you have to do is put an aquarium pump in there and overlap the water over the rockwool an inch or so. that will give them the ozygen and keep them watered for several days. The roots by then should be long and the res level will not matter. as long as the mister doesnt run dry you can leave them. Def get as much light as you can on them early. you dont get to decide when to flower so you want the fastest growth rate possible before 20 days. cant wait to see them in several weeks. good luck and start those nutes. as always keep us posted

Well, unfortunately, the new system doesn't fit in the growtent with the hps and the other plants. I'll have to wait until the others are harvested. How much longer do you think the plants will be ready to harvest? The cfls will have to do for now, unless I take the others out. What would you do? I'm going to be purchasing a 400 watt mh/hps light system by the time the lr2s are ready to flower. Just trying to figure out if I want to get it by mail again, will probably have to.
 
just place your cfls directly on top of the plants nearly touching. that will at least let you know you gave them the most light you had available at that time. theyll be fine. they look great already. i can tell. lol. good luck and yah its rough buying over the internet. always a little sketchy. you'll make out fine with whatever you do. youve made it this far. really good luck and you know the rest. lol
 
wannabee sorry. the other plants are still far from harvest. at least 3 weeks. but more time=more bud for sure. just keep us posted and we'll obviously be discussing it. lol. they look great.
 
just an update for myself. the hempstars are continuing to grow many new buds. prob 3 more weeks. cant wait for them to finish. they double in weight about every week so hoping for 400 grams wet. just a high guess. here they are who knows how many days flower? i think they started on feb 17. prob look the same in pics. also the lights were on . sorry. amc check out the avatar. didnt feel like getting her too worked up.
