LP Advice

I am new to the world of medical marijuana. From what I have researched there is a lot of hostility towards LP's.

I don't have the time or knowledge or residence to cultivate my own so that is not an option for me. Nor do I live in a place with dispensary's on every street corner.

I am in the process of being set up with a LP and would like advice on which one I should choose.

IF YOU HAD TO PICK one of the following which would you chose:

-Maricann
-CannTrust
-Tweed
-CannaFarms
-The Peace Naturals Project

Pros or Cons?

You're not going to get a lot of lovin for LP's in here but you never know someone who has used them and had a good experience could recommend one of them. Most of us who post here grow our own, get it through the black market or a designated grower (DG). It's cheaper and better quality. If you can hook up with a designated grower you'd be better off all around, price, selection and quality. Good luck...

I have personally seen a few strains from LPee's and definitely wouldn't recommend any of those LPee's you listed.

Tilray was ok but the price you see on the product page and what you will actually pay are not the same depending on how much you buy.

If I had to stay with an LPee I would use broken coast or tilray.

If you are unable to grow your own get a designated grower.

LPee's weed is shit. You can not ever get the same quality from an LPee as you can from a good grower.

You would be better off just ordering from an LPee once to get the packaging and "refill" it from else where.

the list is considerably longer than that....I think...
like the others have said, above....if you can avoid it...you probably should.
It does not make us sound like advocates for mmj....but really most of us here are....
and the advice is sound.....no one here wants to see you get ripped off...

if you can't grow, i would suggest finding a designated grower (DG) and go that route.
buying from LP's-you will be very disappointed at quality and then the lightness of your wallet.
they are corporate greedbags. if they were for the patient, they would have patient friendly pricing

I have a friend that has been buying from Tilray for almost a year. Prices for what she ordered have suddenly gone up 400% and she's on a waiting list of indeterminate time now to get her order. Just the fact that she can't order from any LP is a huge barrier to med patients and another reason to never start with them. She's waiting for my plants to finish flowering around Xmas to get the good stuff. :)

Once you have your med papers from your doc just contact some compassion clubs and by faxing them a copy of your papers they will mail you pot. I signed up with a couple in BC while there in August and can just phone to order what I want tho I have plenty of my own here at home so don't need any atm.

When choosing an LP, this little trick will help: Take your money, dig a hole and put your money in it. Then pour gas on it and light it on fire and inhale deeply. Congratulations!

If you are low income Canntrust.
Nowhere else legal or illegal can I get 30 grams for $128 shipped to my door every month.
Quality of their high cbd stuff is good.
Also do not bother with anything without quality CBD levels as their stuff is really weak in terms of potency.

For all of you telling folks to go the the BM to get their weed what about those of us who need high cbd stuff? It's just not there..

That is a big problem to get CBD pot on the BM but almost all dispensaries and compassion clubs sell it so I'd try them first.

Good price for an oz of anything CarpeNocturnum but I still would never buy anything from an LP. When one has no other option tho it's a different story.

Do u find high cbd stuff from can trust actually helpful?
From my experience higher cbd without medium to high thc is useless as robaxacet or la ko ta

And tbh Drs and others not in the know preach about cbd being the wonder drug but if cbds are so great and they don't get a person impaired then why are those strains so expensive from lps?
They have zero street value since they don't get anyone high.
Shouldn't they be cheaper since no one but Drs and wonder drug believers want them?

You're more likely to find a DG or Med grower growing CBD strains than BM growers. I've been growing Harlequin for a couple of years and now working my own cross looking for about 75/25 THC/CBD. This one is looking good from a structure perspective and I already have the F1 male ready so will be hitting this pheno of my Blue Ripper x Harlequin in the next couple of days.

What condition are you treating?
I have PTSD I am using cbd first and foremost as a mood stabilizer and sedative (antipsychotic). So yes it helps greatly. I still need thc but I find 1:1 products optimal.
Waiting for my new papers and grow tent and I'll be growing a 1:1 strain. Hopefully flowering 20 plants will give me enough to never ever have to buy herb again.

I was referring to the nonesense I see listed on lp websites like 1%thc 12-15% cbd for $9-12 a gram
That shit ain't helping anybody cept the lps make money off of lies and misinformation.
I've been told I have the spinal cord of a 90yr old bricklayer so not much helps me beyond knockout mj with a smattering of opioids mixed in.
Probably should keep my opinion to myself so don't mind me

I order 30 grams of pennywise every month.
7%thc/7%cbd
I agree the prices for the super high cbd stuff is too expensive.
Still it's a good indica that treats my PTSD symptoms.*****when I am in pain I am forced to get high THC stuff from my compassion club
Now I have been in threads such as the DG thread. Even Hippy said $3.50 a gram would be too cheap for him.
So either way they are practically not marking their product up for that first oz I can order a month.
Still I don't know how people can shit talk this company when they are so fair to me.
Not ALL LPs are bad.
As Obiwan Kenobi says "Only a sith deals in absolutes"

So I went with CannTrust and I look forward to trying it out in a couple weeks once my papers go through. I only plan to spend $150-200 a month. I now know there are other options and thanks for your input guys!

The way some of you people talk about LP's make it sound like they killed your dog! :peace:
