jesus i better start eating more lsd before it becomes extinct
No drug ever becomes extinct... just not as prevalent as it once was. You won't find people giving it away at hippy festivals. Now they have a fee haha ;)

The chemical process takes a big fancy degree and a barrel of chemicals as earlier implied. But I may have some fun teaching you a few odds and in's!

Sorry man but you need a degree in chemistry, access to "barrels of chemicals" that aren't just Layin around, and a crazy fuckin lab. I'm also very interested in making LSD and that's why I'm gonna major in chemistry when I go to college. LSD is an amazing chemical and props for wanting to learn about the synthesis.

Hmm... don't let us all know your going to major in chemistry; JUST to make acid! Not the professional way to do it!

If you can make the LSD any of its analogs are only a short hand away. Its like saying I will make bannock and wine, but not bread and beer; or some porkchops and applesauce but not bacon and applepie. :)

Anyway it does require some special equipment, neutral pressurized atmospheres, artificial lighting and some serious know how. Anyone can do it if they direct themselves toward that route of study, I would assume 7-12 years before the first batch of LSD is produced with any confidence.

Peace

Good luck and I know how you feel. I've been plotting a poppy grow and small lab operation to create my own opiate compounds for fun and to save money on expensive Rx's. I think my project is probably a hundred times easier to pull off than setting up an acid lab but then again, there's always more than one way to accomplish a reaction....

L.S.D was first discovered in ergot fungus/mold which is easy to produce but is very toxic, so BE CAREFUL!
Do some research on ergot and you may find your answers
In my opinion I would never dare to play with this sort of shit, i'm not down with taking psychedelics, just very interested in them.

You guys should look at D.M.T (dimethyltryptamine) if you haven't already. Now thats some interesting shit lads, trust.

unless your a chemist that knows what the hell your doing.. your not going to be able to produce your own LSD.

the process is so complex, that.. unless you have a degree or have been schooled in Chemistry for 10 years or so... your not going to be able to make your own LSD.

trust me.. its more complex than you realize. ;)

just stick to growing cannabis.. and maybe grow some shrooms if you want to trip. As far as LSD goes, your better off just finding someone that can supply you with the LSD.. instead of trying to be a chemist and making it yourself.. which again.. is pretty much impossible unless you know what your doing.. and have all the equipment to do it with.. and a lab to do it in.

peace.

Some of you are clearly sensationalizing the idea of producing LSD. Obviously it isn't impossible to make, and it isn't being made by pharma and getting redirected. So there are some out there who make it in large enough quantities to supply a good chunk of people, but not enough to arouse suspicion. Who knows they may even steal the chemicals from a corporate lab. The point is if you have the drive to want to learn something that only a select number alive can do it effectively; go ahead. Sure it may take along time, but over the years you can polish your skills with different synths. Maybe some MDMA, some psilocin, some mescaline, some ketamine; if you have the access to any of the chemicals in a robust enough quantity you will be able to make hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Peace

I've been studying chemistry for a while now, and I honestly believe most of my instructors probably couldn't handle LSD synthesis. That is, without a very, very detailed guide. I've read through lots of research articles regarding the synthesis and the process isn't that bad. In theory, anyway. Most anecdotal reports suggest if you try it, well, it's gonna be a real bitch. Everything must be perfect; not just good, or even really, really good, it has to be perfect. You can do everything right (or so you think) and for some unknown reason, it just won't work; leading to the destruction of expensive and hard to come by reagents. I'm not sure where the problem lies exactly, but it seems that except for chemists who've actually been walked through it by someone who's successfully done it on multiple occaisons, it's something best let alone. Don't let me discourage you, but most of us lack the lab space/equipment/financial resources/connections to suppliers to have any hope of completeing a successful job of it. Well, having said that, good luck.

Lol you guys so silly it's alot easier to make then meth it's just not addicting so less peeps make it therefore less people have the know how
