LSD inspired Art 2

Four hits of acid later, my mind began to pour out onto my tablet. Only my second time taking lsd and it was purely for artistic purposes.

I'd like to know what you think and I'd love for anyone else with Acid Art to share it.

did you do it on canvas? or papers? how big are they? really cool stuff. WHen my shrooms are done im gonna do some art with a friend of mine should be good fun.

Sounds awesome! They are done using photoshop cs4 and a drawing tablet on my computer and each is pretty large, I also have crayon drawings from my first acid trip in another post. : )

Cool work man. Iv never done cid b4, its rarely around and when it does occasionally come around(like once a year if that) i always never seem to have a reason to do it. When i used to draw which is my perferd medium some of the stuff i would come up was pretty fucking nuts. I remember senior year in high school i made a sketch that even i thought was nuts-ola. I was drawing it during class and my teacher was walking around the room when she spoted it. She made me show it to the whole class (i think she was trying to humiliate me,but it had the opposite effect she then had the class give me feed back. Every one thought it was fucking crazy and the general concenus was that it was cool. I drew the picture on the back of a in class assignment so wehad to hand in the work obviously. I got my paper back after she graded it.
Well about 3 months later i was in the school counselar office for a reason i do not seem to recall. The counslour had my file out on the table and she was flipping through the pages and guess what i spoted??? The fucking teacher had photo copied the drawing i made and turned it in to the school psychologist!!! I even asked the counslour why the drawing was in there and she acted like i didnt know what the fuck i was talking about and denided that she was in possesion of said drawing. She then quickly closed the file and promptly stashed it away.
Just incase your wondering what the drawing was, it was of a horned demon looking creature with its brain exposed and there were flowers growing out of his brain, more specifically smiley faced flowers. It was a pretty detailed drawing with shadowing and veigns every where and big bulging blood shot eyes! I still have the original around some where and if i ever find it i will post it immediatly.

haha yeah I know exactly what you mean about drawing in class... I have full notebooks that I'm sure counselors galore would love to see.

So how do you like your tablet? I have been thinking about getting one. How well does it translate to the computer.

Depends on the brand, some are a lot more precise than others. If you're into art and you enjoy digital effects or mediums then getting a tablet is absolutely worth it, I love working with it.

thats some crazy shit man i love that trippy abstract art,i used to draw shit like that and i've never even done acid. but i would love to try it,the only thing is the people i know that do it are so wacked out i dont even like talking to them,but then again the shit never comes around wisconsin where im at. lame....
