Thanks alot for the replies guys, tonight Im adding a plywood door to seal the room off, Moving the ballasts out of the room, lowering the intake about 6-12 inches. Hopefully with all of these I can drop my room to 80 with the lights at 1000w each. I will lower my hoods also like you said SF. I really appreciate the help you 2, glad things are moving in a positive direction now. Will update tonight.

Temps in flowering room are at 82 now with 3 ballasts at 1000w. I picked up a 4th parabolic hood today, another phantom 1000w ballast and 2 HPS bulbs to get ready for flowering. I switched my 8" fan from my exaust with the 6" intake. So now I have about 720cfm for cold air intake. I need more though, once I setup this 4th ballast, things will get really hot. Built a new veg room for clones and such, got 2 Sour Flower, 2 Durban Poison, 1 Mystery Indica, and about 18 clones I did last night. Will update pics of the flowering room tomorrow once everything is setup. I also installed a webcam in the veg room, 1 will be installed in the flowering room also. I have it setup for pictures every 10 min. I trained the 2 sour flower clones today, the picture below is that. Cant wait to see the timelapse of them adapting. Have a good one, any questions and comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Will do a big picture update tonight 9pm est. Still having heat issues. Will figure something out eventually. Thinking of routing the cold air intake through the center of my room. Maybe use a T connector for the ducting and split it to both sides, not really sure. I installed a 4th hood, so I have 4 4' parabolics now with 1000w ballasts. I had to turn them all down to 600w last night though for heat issues. I am about to buy a 300$ portable AC unit for outside of the room. I just dont have any disposable income right now, Ive invested so much into this run so. If worse comes to worse I can run 4x at 600, but I honestly dont want to. I want them all at 1000w so. With all them on at 1000w the room is at about 90-95. At 600w it sits around 80-85. I was potentially thinking about moving my charcoal filter to the center of the room, instead of against the right wall. If it was sucking in air from the middle center, maybe more heat will be pulled through. Not sure though, just going to have to play around with it. I would like to run air-cooled hoods, I just love the spread I get for my canopys with the parabolics. Another Idea would be a 10 or 12" intake instead of an 8". My room is only 8x8x8 if that though. I really feel like the 8" should be enough. Time will tell.

Lots of new clones, cant wait to try out the strains. Grape Ape, Critical Jack, Headband, XJ-13, Kali Mist, Pure Kush. All clones from my collectives mothers that produce phenomenal bud. Really pumped to have gotten the grape ape, only 1 came in so. Took 24 clones from the Sour Flowers 2 nights ago, they are starting to look good. I have 24 other clones also, from my mystery indica plant and from the Deadhead OG's. Will select 12 of each that look the best for the next run. Thinking 12 Sour Flower, 6 Deadhead, 6 Indica. Something like that. Will be vegging the new clones I got for a few weeks and clone them for the 3rd run.

So, I am having a bit of a problem upgrading my nutes for flowering. From the looks of it I have an abundance of N, potentially a deficiency of Cal and Mag and potentially an abundance of sulfur. I didnt run calmag this time, was trying something new, and I believe the sulfur is from my water. I am using well water and I feel like it has an abundance of minerals in it. I dont drink it so. Other than that, heat is kind of an issue, I have it down to 80 with the bulbs on 600. I really want them all at 1000w but, time will tell. Once I get the nutrients and heat figured out I will be happier but. I just dont have the money on hand for an AC unit, which I basically need at this point. A portable one runs about 300 for the size I need. Will do an update on the veg room in about 10 min from now. Wanted to get something up though.

Yeah that 4th light really f'd me up heat wise. The spread is so much better though, I can get full light coverage to all plants so. The portable AC will be so nice once I get it. I need a heater too as bad as it is, during the day temps get down to 60 so. All in all I am happy, the plants are doing decent. I may want to switch to hydro to get more room in there. I want 48 plants in the flowering room on a perpetual harvest so. The air cooled hoods I want are 280 each, 4ft spread aircooled. They are really nice. That is after this harvest though. I am soo happy to have grape ape in my garden. If you havent smoked it yet, it is such a killer strain.

Video Update of flowering room. http://vimeo.com/36003783

The grape ape is an amazing smoke. Blueberry and cream tasting, hint of the gdp purple taste. I really love the high too, not too narcotic so you can still get stuff done from it. Same with the XJ-13, Sour Flower and the Kali Mist. I am really happy to have gotten these strains. The collective produces top notch bud, and its from their mothers so. Really pumped.

Edit** Just got done pruning and trimming up my plants. Just a bit of the undergrowth that wont amount to anything. Havent done it in 2 weeks and really wish I kept up on it, oh well, done now :)

Pics of todays update are on page 5 :)

Damn tonight was some work. Started flushing my plants because they need it. I haven't flushed the medium at all this grow I realized, and I think I have a salt and nitrogen build up in the plants. So I started flushing 6 of them with 1/4 strength nutes and 10gal of water per plant, each plant is in a 7.5g pot. Will finish tomorrow when it is not 4 am :). I changed the fans around a bit in my room and I believe I will be able to run my 4 lights at 1000w now. The room is sitting at 82 right now, will see how it goes over time. Really happy about that. Plants are looking amazing, buds are forming more and more each day. Always loved this part of the grow heh. Figured I would do an update tonight, seeing as I hopefully finally bested my ventilation issues. Again, time will tell though. Other than that, all is good in the hood, as they say. Not sure who says that anymore but, I'm delirious so. Later days :)

ouch i hope they survive from the flush, i never do that, but im using organic nutes. i think it would be sufficient to feed them a regular with only water, no nutrients but thats just my stanky janky opinion lol, sleep is good in the hood.. hahahha sometimes not =)

Flush was much needed. Plants loved it. I guess it wasnt a flush but a leeching. 1/4 strength nutes 10gal for 7.5g pot. They responded great though. After reading through the few books I own, they say leeching soil once a month is a great idea. It saves from built up sodium, nutrient buildup and other problems. I plan to finish the room tonight so, if people still protest please object! Other than that all is well, buds are really starting to pop up everywhere. I really like seeing all the popcorn buds from training. So many node sites. All good once again. 1 of the deadhead OG's is showing a Mg problem. Leaves curling upwards bad. I believe that is MG. Humidity is still at 35. Kind of wish it was higher but oh well.

they will be fine, as long as ya let em dry out i guess

i just dont really see any sense in doing it, ya i have read about why, maybe i would if i used chem nutes too, but im using gH veganics plant food and even before that i never did, i treat em pretty much identical to my tomatoes that were outside wet/dry/wet/dry/wet/dry/wet/dry/wet/dry, but yours look great tho, dont take that the wrong wa

I will update pics tonight potentially, kinda tired. I basically was having a build up of nitrogen in most plants, it wasnt the nutrients either, because I am using botanicare which is pretty low in nitrogen for the set I am using. They are looking great after the flush, slight yellowing but they are perky as anything. I basically want to increase what I feed them now over the next week and a half while keeping track of the ppm and PH of everything. I wanted to basically have a clean slate, which Is what I have now. I think I will feed 2-3 days from now, once they dry out. Transplanted 24 clones today into 1gal pots. Veg room is filled up nice. Depending on how this hash bowl goes, I may upload pics. Thanks for the interest! Any questions comments concerns please post.

So I changed my room around a good bit. Moved my exhaust from the right side of my room, to the center of my 4 lights. Moved the 4 ballasts outside of the growroom. Rewired the room. Re-panda paper'd the floor and swept/ cleaned everything up. Took my intake from the floor, and installed it onto the wall, then my 3 circulating fans blow the cold air around the room. Not sure if this is the best yet, but it is working now. Room stays around 78-84 so, I am happy.

Plants are doing better. They responded great to the flush, and plan to feed them full strength nutrients tonight. I have problems on 2 plants mainly,IMAG0245.jpgIMAG0246.jpg

Other than that, all is good :) IMAG0240.jpgIMAG0241.jpgIMAG0242.jpgIMAG0243.jpgIMAG0244.jpg
